happy 22 to my best friend!!!!! whether we’re listening to zb/hardy, going to get pretzels and a bev every single day, or playing black jack until 5am, time spent with you is always my favorite and i have cherished every moment. you were the first person i met in college, just two little freshman roommates trying to figure life out together. now looking back, it’s so special seeing how far we’ve come and how much we’ve grown through it all. i’ve been lucky enough to watch you grow into an incredible, strong woman and i’m so proud of you. to know ki is to love ki. i hope you had the best birthday ever. from nc to michi- i love you forever 💌💐 #asklilwayne #kashtyn

I took my cleats off for the last time a week ago.
I’m still adjusting and I think I will be adjusting for a while to how naked I feel without a stick in my hand.

I’ll never be able to thank this sport enough for all it has given me. A family, a way to move my body, an escape from my hometown and a chance to go to college.
Lacrosse wasn’t always the highlight of my college experience. Every athlete has their hard days and mental breakdowns. I will say that at the end of every day I was/ am still grateful for the ability to do what I love and my senior year really made it difficult for me to end this chapter. This is truly a healing game that has healed so many parts of me. Hitting the wall alone with my headphones on or jumping up and down in the 8 with my teammates after a goal. I’ll never forget the impact my girls had on who I am both as an athlete and a person. I’m thankful for every tear and laugh I got to have with that jersey on. Thank you, Mars Hill Women’s Lacrosse. You are forever a part of me. #3out
