What. A. Day. First off, I want to appreciate everybody’s support whether it’s coming from participating, coming to the event, donating, supporting, preparing, or even just viewing our posts, from the bottom of my heart I’m forever grateful. We saw close to 200-225 people at once with more people rolling in and out throughout the day and looking back at it that’s CRAZY. This day was filled with laughter, excitement, positivity, love and joy and that’s everything I could’ve ever asked for.

I want to especially thank my family. @joscelynamar @nalissalynn_ @1111.ameliaa @wennonahamar @georgeanne_ @atlastiamfree @bandrew714 @rykerdcgarcia without you guys none of this would’ve been possible. From staying up until 2AM the night before making sure everything is perfect to help running the event, driving to pick up food, scoring the games, the contributions from all of you guys made this day what it was.❤️

Another thank you to all the players, all 116 of you guys, I appreciate you all waking up at 7 in the morning on a Saturday in the middle of the summer to spend the day with us. It wasn’t the worst heat (thank god) but around 8 hours of activity you all trooped through it and put on a show. Big shoutout to our Volleyball Tournament winners (Team Deuces),Basketball Tournament winners (South Shore Boston)Your participation is greatly appreciated and I would love to see you all again next year.🫶🏼🫶🏼

To Auntie Jeanifer, I hope you are proud of what you saw from above. I can only imagine the smile and joy illuminating from your face as you watched all of us compete and have a good time. I hope you’re able to see the community that we’ve brought together and that we’ll always continue to enjoy life the way you did.

What’s Next? With the money raised from this event I’m looking to continue with what we’ve been already doing which is giving back. 25% of what we made is going towards Colon Cancer research and the other 75% will be building on our journey to feed and give back to children and families in the Philippines. Our next event will hopefully be finalized for next month (with a little sneak peak at the end of the post😉)

Love you all🫶🏼❤️ - Gabe
