As we wrap up the 2024-2025 track season, I want to express my gratitude to God for the opportunity to do what I love. This season has been filled with both historic moments and difficult challenges, including my experiences with Performance Anxiety. I'm sharing my story in the hopes that it can provide hope and support to others who may be facing similar challenges. While in Boston for New Balance indoor Nationals, I vomited before the gun went off in the 800m. Outdoor was going fine with no Issues at Brooks Invitational and the 400m at New Balance Outdoor. When the 800m was called, it happened again right before going out to run last week. Please understand that this is not an excuse but rather a chance to let athletes know that it’s a real thing and can happen to anyone. I know that God doesn’t make mistakes and is only preparing me for the journey ahead. My mind and body will come back even stronger next year. Thanks to my family for the sacrifices and @kej905 for working with me this year. Kris is an amazing coach. #track #performance #vulnerable #freemind #newbalance #brooks #anxiety #400m#800m #worldrecord #onrunning #nikerunning #adidasrunning #hookarunning #youcandoit #dontgiveup #stronger #keepmoving ,#instagramrunners #hope
