Every dog deserves the chance to be understood. ❤️🐾

When we first connected with @kelevk9 about Todd, we knew he needed more than basic obedience training. He needed someone who could see past his reactivity, understand where those behaviors were coming from, and help him build the confidence and skills to navigate the world.

What makes Kelev K9 so special is that their mission comes from personal experience. Their journey began with Lahav, a dog whose struggles with reactivity inspired his owner, Leo, to become the trainer he is today. Having experienced firsthand how difficult and overwhelming behavioral challenges can be, their team understands just how much these dogs mean to the people who love them.

At Happy Camper Dog Rescue, we believe dogs like Todd deserve that same patience, understanding, and opportunity to thrive.

We’re already so proud of the progress Todd is making, and we’re incredibly grateful to the team at @kelevk9 for investing their time, knowledge, and hearts into helping him become the best version of himself.

We can’t wait to share more of his journey with you. ❤️

One week of training down for our sweet Todd! 🐾❤️

Todd has been working hard on building his confidence, learning new skills, and navigating the world around him. Todd has struggled with reactivity and these little steps are such an important part of his journey.

We’re so proud of the progress he’s making, and even more grateful for the patience, kindness, and dedication his trainers have shown him. They’re helping Todd build the skills and confidence he needs to feel more comfortable in the world, while giving him plenty of love along the way.

We know there’s still work ahead, but seeing Todd learn, grow, and enjoy himself makes us so hopeful for his future.

A huge thank you to his wonderful trainers for believing in Todd and helping him become the best version of himself. We can’t wait to see what the coming weeks bring! ❤️ @kelevk9 #kelevk9 #rescuedog #dogtrainer #dogtraining #adoptdontshop

When working with a fearful dog, slow and steady wins the race. Rushing the process can overwhelm them, making it harder to build trust. Instead, focus on small, positive experiences that create a sense of safety.

One tool that can help? A Feeding Box!

✅ What is a Feeding Box?
A simple open container where your dog can comfortably eat at their own pace, without feeling pressured.

✅ How Does It Help?
🐾 Encourages your dog to approach and engage at their comfort level.
🐾 Builds positive associations with their environment.
🐾 Allows them to feel in control, reducing stress.

🔑 Patience is key! Let them take their time, and celebrate small progress. Over time, trust will replace fear.

Tag someone who’s working with a fearful pup! 🐶💙 #FearfulDogTraining #DogTrainingTips #BuildingTrust #SlowIsFast

Off Leash training my boy Lahav , at 7 years young.
Important to keep your dog in control of his own emotional state . I mix in E-Collar conditioning with his obedience .
High drive , Lots of fun .
