Y’all really got me tonight! 🥹💛🖤

I went to class thinking it was just another Monday, getting my steps in like I normally do, and walked right into a surprise for my 6-year step anniversary! And yes, I CRIED! 😂😭

The crazy part is I noticed everybody wearing yellow and black and STILL didn’t put two and two together! Y’all are SNEAKY! 😂

Six years of being a part of this community, and I still love it just as much as I did when I started. One thing about Xtreme Hip Hop, you can walk into a class anywhere and find your people. The love, the energy, the friendships, the way we show up for each other… it’s so much bigger than just stepping on a board.

To everybody who came out tonight, helped put this together, THANK YOU! I really wasn’t expecting any of this, and y’all have no idea how much it meant to me. I felt every bit of that love. 🥹

Six years down, and I’m still learning, still growing, and still doing something that genuinely makes me happy.

My heart is FULL! I love y’all! 💛🖤

Today was one for the books!! 🔥🔥🔥

Thank you to all my members @eosfitness Katy and Hwy6/Loch Katrine locations who came and turned up with me to celebrate my culture! You all really showed up and showed out and looked good in that green 💚💚😆
Always love immersing cultural experiences in my classes 🤗🤗

Special shoutout to my step instructor @kella504 who couldn’t be there today but showed up yesterday to Bodypump in her green & white for an early celebration 😘💚🤍

I love me some Afrobeats and I truly enjoyed making this playlist! The hardest part was taking it from like 40 songs to 14 so we could be out in an hour 😂😂

Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did! 😘

Happy Independence Day to my fellow Nigerians 🇳🇬🇳🇬

A little snippet of the last 6.5 years! So sad to see the cycle room @dynamicfitnesshtx closed down 😔

So many memories were created in a room with bikes that go nowhere 😆 I have sooo many pics and it was so hard to pick 20 lol! but just know if you aren’t in here or tagged because of Instagram limitations, I remember everyone 🤗

From having to ride after the pandemic with masks on, spaced out bikes & minimum people allowed to classes being packed out, our community was built week by week. I’ve had the honor of meeting so many amazing people throughout the years in that room. Something that started off as a cycle class became more like a family 🥹
That room became an escape, our weekly therapy. For 1 hour, we got to escape life outside and “leave it all on the bike.” 😤

From those who were with me since the beginning to those who were there one month, everyone was welcomed and celebrated. From birthday rides, pregnancies 😆, milestones, cultural rides, holidays, etc. the turn up was real 💃🏾💃🏾
Thank you all for creating a space where I could be me and for that I am forever grateful!

The song on this post is only fitting because for 6.5 “we didn’t get tired!” We kept showing up and pushing no matter what life threw at us! No matter where you choose to cycle next, let’s keep showing up and showing out because #wedontgettired 🚴🏾‍♀️🚴🏾‍♀️💪🏾💪🏾

P.S. might post a part 2 because too many memories 😆

Today was bitter sweet! Stop by to say goodbye to the @dynamicfitnesshtx cycle family and cycle room. Ironically today was the last class and also baby boy turned 1 month 🥹

6.5 years of teaching cycle every week in this space and now it all comes to an end. No more Cycle room at Dynamic 🥲

Truly filled my heart to hug everyone today! It wasnt just a class, it was a community. Y’all showed up no matter what for #turnuptuesday, #pushthruthursday and #memberschoice Saturday. Always putting up with my shenanigans and themes 😜😆

Throughout the years, I met so many wonderful people, who not only inspired me but motivated and poured life into me! This community has seen me through 2 pregnancies and showed so much love to my family.
I wish I was able to see and hug everyone today!
Just know that if you ever took my cycle classes at Dynamic, it never went unnoticed and I will truly cherish those memories. Thanks for the years of good vibes, energy, and camaraderie! #wedontgettired

So much to say but you all already know how I feel. This is not goodbye, this is see you later on another saddle 😉😜
