I can’t believe this day has finally come. After 16 years of playing baseball, my journey has come to an end. It’s hard to put into words how thankful I am for every opportunity this game has given me, the coaches who believed in me, the teammates who became family, and the memories that I will carry with me forever. Baseball has been such a huge part of my life, and it has helped shape me into the person I am today. While I’m excited for what the future holds, it’s sad knowing that this chapter is over. The countless practices, bus rides, games, wins, losses, and moments shared with my teammates are memories I will never forget. Although my time as a player has come to an end, the lessons and friendships I gained through baseball will stay with me for the rest of my life.

Thank you, Lapel, for everything. Thank you for giving me a place to grow not only as a baseball player, but also as a person. Thank you to all of my coaches for your time, guidance, and support throughout the years. Thank you to my teammates for becoming a second family and for creating memories that I will cherish forever. Most importantly, thank you to my parents, family, and everyone who has supported me throughout this journey. From driving me to practices and games, to cheering me on through the highs and lows, none of this would have been possible without your sacrifices, encouragement, and belief in me. Your support has meant more than words can express, and I will always be grateful for everything you have done for me.

Wearing a Lapel jersey has been an honor, and I am proud to have been a part of this program. It is difficult to say goodbye to something that has meant so much to me for so long, and I know I will miss stepping onto the field with this team. No matter where life takes me, I will always be grateful for the opportunities, friendships, and unforgettable experiences that Lapel has given me. This chapter may be ending, but the memories and relationships I have built through baseball will stay with me forever.
