When I was born, Echo was already in the family and suddenly took it upon herself to help raise me, look after me, even take me on walks around the neighborhood. A few years after she passed, we were still heart broken and decided to just ‘walk through’ a dog adoption event- and met Daisy. We adopted her same day, and she continued to teach me so much about giving people a second chance by loving and trusting us so deeply, despite being abused in her younger years.
I’ve always wanted a dog of my own but told myself I wasn’t ready, and that when I did adopt, it’d have to be an older, smaller dog to start.
But life always has other plans, because I stumbled upon Nugget at an adoption event at the mall in late June, and knew instantly. I told myself I’d just foster her, because a large puppy was NOT part of the current plan, but we formed a soul bond instantly.
Welcome to the family, Nugget, and thank you Echo and Daisy for teaching me how special unconditional love is🩷
