There is so much beauty in a legacy of faith & I pray that this is only the beginning 🤍 Two very special days 1.29.23 & 2.5.23
• Last Sunday, Grant and I dedicated our sweet son to the Lord. We commit to raise him in a home filled with faith and love and commit to make serving God and His church a priority in our family. Gannon was prayed over by the leaders of our church, and our families. What a beautiful moment. I’ve prayed this same simple prayer over Gannon every night since he was born, that he would learn to love the Lord his God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength, all the days of his life. That he would learn & experience this faith & love of God fully for himself as he grows older. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” Joshua 24:15
• Then this morning, one week later, we got to witness my mom being prayed over and ordained as a leader of her church! My parents have always provided me with an example of true faith, and continue to do the same today. So very proud of your constant pursuit for the Lord and loving His people, Mom. Thank you for giving me the example for fervent prayer for your family and selflessly serving. As we dedicated Gannon last weekend, I am even more grateful for your example and pray to be that for my children 🤍
• Overwhelmed by His goodness, “Who am I, O Lord, and what is my family that you have brought us this far?” 2 Samuel 7:18

HBD to the best mom and G.G around! She truly is the best of the best. My respect and thankfulness for her has grown even more since becoming a new mom. As a teenager, I remember walking into my parents room in the morning seeing her kneeing beside her bed praying. She always takes the time early in the morning to fill herself up with God’s Word, prayer, and a good workout, then the rest of the day she pours herself out to her family, friends, co-workers, students, neighbors, bible study group, out reach organizations, the list goes on. She truly does it all! I have kept thinking in these past few months, “how did she do it all SO WELL as a Mom for me and Tyler and still continue to do so much for so many others?” and I know now that it’s because of this, because she chooses Jesus first thing every. single. morning. She doesn’t miss a day putting Him first in her life, and for that reason it overflows into everything else she does.

Mom was able to be with me and Grant in the delivery room when I was in having Gannon. The entire time, she stood right next to me, her face so close to mine and prayed and prayed and prayed! She is the best of the best and deserves the sweetest birthday! Send her some birthday blessings! 🤍 Love you Mom and thank you!
