🌟 DEBUT SPOTLIGHT~MARFA 🌟
“WE’LL ALL BE OKAY” (10/23)
BIG MACHINE /ASCEND MUSIC

Americana indie-rock duo @marfabandofficial will release its debut EP, “We’ll All Be Okay”, on October 23 via @bigmachine Records / @ascend4m Music.

Penned or co-penned entirely by Marfa members Bryce Menchaca & Kellen Wall, & produced by Ryan Marrone (Sabrina Carpenter, JP Saxe), “We’ll All Be Okay” journeys through the emotional terrain of life in your 20s, set to the duo’s warm, hazy sepia-toned sound that blends Laurel Canyon dreamscapes with relentless modern rock.

Across six tracks, with four additional tracks exclusively released on the vinyl edition, “We’ll All Be Okay” is a coming-of-age portrait of early adulthood: budding romance, toxic relationships you can't quite quit, the disorientation of watching your life change shape, & the scrappy hustle of chasing a dream while trying to make rent.

Forged in Colorado with western influences & a shared appreciation for the mythical Laurel Canyon music scene, Marfa delivers an unmistakably authentic Americana-Rock sound that is as familiar as your favorite pair of jeans & as fresh as the morning Rocky Mountain air.

Texas & Washington-raised & shaped by their time in Colorado, the duo pairs sun-soaked sonics, indie-rock DNA, & timeless storytelling into a sound that feels like the next chapter of the folk & rock icons who came before them, while remaining uniquely their own.

Now based in Nashville, TN, @brycermenchaca & @kellenwall have honed in on their artistry as songwriters.

Being the sole writers for a majority of their catalog, it adds a fresh perspective knowing the lyrics are personal to Bryce & Kellen.

"We'll All Be Okay" opens the door to an even bigger, more cinematic chapter, one that stretches beyond the confines of Americana without losing what makes the duo feel unmistakably human!

The past five days just flew by (literally)! It was an amazing run of three shows with the Marfa team! So many special musical moments. Strangely enough, I don't think I've ever been more in love with music than I am at this stage of my life. My first love and constant obsession. Grateful for every opportunity I get to make it.

Forever a starving artist. 🤘
