Marathon No. 2!!!

I wish I can say I had the same success as the first one. After a tough 4-5 weeks of injury, sickness, and exhaustion I thought it would be a good idea to go for my goal (sub-2:50). Well, that didn’t work, like at all lol. At mile 15 both my hips locked up so I found myself walking a good part of the last 11 miles.

Starting too fast, not hydrating enough, warmer weather than average, the list goes on of things I should have done better. It’s all part of the experience in this event. But for now, I’m gonna take time to appreciate I’m a 2x marathon finisher 💪🥇
