What started as a few hours shopping with Audrey somehow turned into one of the most unforgettable nights of my life...

My beautiful, amazing wife secretly planned a surprise 50th birthday party for me with our family, and I literally had NO idea. Somehow, she pulled it all off without me suspecting a thing. That’s just who she is. She always does everything first class, goes above and beyond, and makes every moment feel incredibly special.

I don’t feel or look 50, obviously 🤪, but I’ve never felt more blessed. Blessed to have a family that loves me, supports me, laughs with me, and shares life with me. I truly have everything I could ever ask for.

The theme was “50 Years & 50 Reasons You Are Loved.” My wife had everyone write down crazy/funny memories and sentimental reasons why they love me. We sat together and read every single one. There were tears, laughter, and so many memories. I could barely get through some of the sentimental ones.

That night meant more to me than I could ever put into words. Not because of the party, decorations, gifts, or surprise, but because of the people sitting around that room with me. The people I love most in this world.

We aren’t promised tomorrow, and none of us know what God’s plans are for our lives. So my encouragement is simple: Spend time with your family. Put the phones away. Be present. Laugh until you’re snorting! Make memories and soak it all in.

Life can change in an instant, and the moments we take for granted can become the moments we cherish most.

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with me and made me feel so loved, and to all my friends for the texts, calls, gifts, and messages.

And to my incredible wife and my girls, thank you for always making me feel special, loved, and incredibly blessed. You made this a birthday I’ll cherish for the rest of my life.

50 years, 50 reasons, and a lifetime of blessings!

I love you all more!!

Best buds and only 85 years apart.

•My grandparents celebrated their 70th anniversary last month and they both turn 90 this year. Great grandparents is a vast understatement. 🖤

Florida was good for the soul. So thankful for a week of sunshine, laughter, and making memories with my lovely wife and children. El & Cal are growing way too fast, and I’m learning not to rush the little moments.
