I watched the film "The Rip" this morning. I really enjoyed it! The Rip is a dark, gripping, and taut thriller with shocking twists and turns, morally ambiguous characters, and packed to the brim with intensity.

The superb script by director Joe Carnahan( story credited to Carnahan & Michael McGrale) tells a gritty story about morality, camaraderie, grief, and the struggles of life that has some relevance. The action sequences are also well done and adrenaline-fueled.

Matt Damon & Ben Affleck lead a fantastic ensemble cast that includes Steven Yeun, Teyana Taylor, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Sasha Calle, Kyle Chandler, Scott Adkins, Nestor Carbonell, and Lina Esco.

The cinematography is impressive by Juan Miguel Azpiroz, and it has a really good score by Clinton Shorter. It's well-edited by Kevin Hale and has some pretty good costume design, set decoration, art direction, and production design. Joe Carnahan did a terrific job directing this tense, suspenseful, and intriguing thriller that I would recommend.

Hey, I directed the pilot to @marshalscbs and it’s my entry point to the Sheridan @yellowstone and @101studiosco universe. @lukegrimes heads up an incredible ensemble of @elemgy @ashmsantos @tatankameans and @ariellekebbel plus the OGs @gilbirmingham and @mobringsplenty

Returning to @cbs @cbsstudios where my TV career first started (Nash Bridges, Martial Law, CSI’s, Cold Case) was a lovely homecoming. It was a lot of fun to see old friends behind the camera and @spencerhudnut has taken everything to the next level in telling an emotional, action packed evolution of the western. Kayce Dutton rides again March 1st.
