🎙️ I did something I’ve never done before…

Kellie Alston is a Ph.D. candidate in the Instructional Design & Technology Program at Keiser University. A native of Durham, NC, Kellie holds an M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Winston-Salem State University.

Kellie’s phenomenological study focuses on the teaching self-efficacy of faculty who were forced to transition to the online learning environment with little to no online teaching experience prior to the pandemic. As the first full-time distance education lecturer at North Carolina Central University, her passion for ensuring that online students have a high-quality experience has been her driving force over the past 17 years.
Kellie is the founder of Virtualgogy, LLC, a new training and development company commissioned to empower faculty with the customized support and training they need to make online teaching and learning fulfilling for all.
