It has officially been a full year since @hmradomski and I moved to Seattle and man has it been a year to remember. I moved out here to pursue my career as a full time musician/drummer, and I am happy to say I have played more this past year than I ever have. I have also had some amazing experiences since moving here. Below are just a few….

-Playing a couple duo/full band Shows with @kellierosemusic
-Becoming a lessons teacher at @westcoastdrumshop
- @sedonarose.music asking me to join her band “The Thorns”
-Playing almost 3 duo shows a month with Sedona
-Finally meeting @jeffpetescia and @jeremy_huband04
-Playing a pre gorge party with Jeff and Jeremy
-Playing at @cavebestatewinery during Labor Dave Weekend
-Flying out to play at Dave Matthews vineyard, @blenheimvineyards with Jeff and Jeremy
-Forming an official band with Jeff and Jeremy, @jeffjeremyjohn
-Continuing remote recording

While I miss my friends and family back home, we have absolutely loved living here. We’ve met some amazing people, and can’t wait to do some more exploring. Im so thankful Haley believed in this dream of mine, and agreed to this move. Without her love and support, I couldn’t have done this.

I believe there are multiple ways to define being a “successful” musician. Would I like to be on tour and play stadiums? Sure….who wouldn’t? But I am able to pay my bills, and maintain a comfortable lifestyle by playing and teaching drums. I’m also truly loving everything I’m doing. You can’t put a price on that. Here’s to many many more years of memories and fun.

This is for the women who held me when life came undone.

The ones who never asked me to make my pain make sense. Who didn’t need the whole story to believe me. Who stayed, showed up and reminded me who I was when I’d lost sight of her.

There are men I could name for the harm they’ve caused me and countless other women. Not all men, but in my life, most. And what allows that harm to continue isn’t only the men who cause it, but the silence of those who know better.

How you speak about women when they’re not in the room tells me everything I need to know about how you value them.

Women are why I found my way back to myself. And I will never take lightly the women who made sure I didn’t have to find my way alone.

Tag the woman who held you.
Remind her of how precious she is

Rest belongs in the way we live and lead. 🌿

Women on the Rise, Siren Curves @siren.curves , and Right Standing Consulting Solutions @rotiesha_clark are coming together to create Selah, a day devoted to rest, reflection, and meaningful connection.

This partnership brings together the care of a spa experience, the warmth of community, and guided space to consider what is essential in this season.

We share a desire to see women supported in the lives they’re building, with room to receive care, enjoy friendship, and grow with greater clarity.

Our hope for Selah is simple: that each woman has space to breathe, recognize what deserves her energy, and begin releasing something she’s ready to set down.

This special and set apart time is open to WOTR members and those who have attended any of our workshops or events.

As the trees let go of what they no longer need, may we remember that we can too.

Sometimes an ending isn’t really an ending. Sometimes it’s just the beginning of finding our way back to ourselves.

I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through this past week without my community🥹

To the women who stroked my hair while I cried.
To the friends who broke their backs helping me move, yet again.
To my family and chosen family who held me when I fell apart…

You are my heroes.

Thank you for loving me through all the messy, imperfect parts.

And if you’re in the chrysalis too, I hope you remember that this part is temporary. Give yourself time. Your wings are still forming. And one day, you’ll look back and understand why you had to become someone new 🦋

I know deeply what it feels like to be rejected, unsupported, betrayed, unfairly prejudged, the third wheel, the connector who gets left out, the person others rely on without reciprocity, the one people are jealous of even though you’re highly celebratory & supportive of others.

It sucks. It stings. And it still hurts even as an adult.

So seeing women genuinely happy, fulfilled, sincerely supported, known and accepted is my jam 💕

And if I can help even just ONE more woman feel like she belongs, is loved and is accepted just as she is, I’m doing what I’m called to do.

I feel sublimely grateful for the women who support me, love me and trust me 💛

Through my work as a Community Builder the greatest gifts are the unexpected relationships that come into my life along the way.

Thank you my friends for simply being you!
You make my life, work and heart better ❤️‍🩹
You heal parts of me that have been deeply wounded. And I’m forever grateful & will continue on in my mission of “happier women, happier world” ❤️
