One truth I keep coming back to:

If it’s not good, God’s not done.

Romans 8:28 doesn’t mean everything we walk through is good. It means God is still working—even in the broken places.

That’s the heart of True North: finding Jesus in the broken places, learning to recognize His voice, staying close to Him, and trusting Him with the unfinished parts of our story.

Don’t mistake the middle of your story for the end. God is still working. 🤍

Have you ever felt heartsick? Stuck? Discouraged? Feeling like your prayers are hitting the ceiling and “no one up there’s listening? Or that your faith isn’t working like it used to and you just don’t know what else to do?

Yeah, me too.

I spent a lot of time, $$, effort, and brain capacity trying to “figure it out”, “break through”, and “faith it”.
Ugh 😑

When I finally realized that “I can’t….I can’t….so God, I can’t, but if you don’t, I’m not going to make it”…I guess I finally started asking Him the right questions and just laying it all down at His feet while telling Him, my soul is broken.

I’m in so much pain I don’t know what to do.

My body is falling apart and I don’t know how to stop it.

My heart is broken and I don’t think I’m ever going to be ok.

And, because I finally stopped trying to be my own savior, provider, and protector……and everyone else’s too — God met me in that place and led me into a journey so rich, deep, and powerful, and SIMPLE!

I’m just here to let you know, if you’ve finally reached the end of you, there’s hope.

God can and wants to heal your soul. He just needs your willingness, your surrendered heart, open and ready for transformation.

I hope you’re ready to let go of the past, and all the junk, and embrace a beautiful new future!

There is a difference between surviving what happened to you and allowing God to completely transform what happened to you.

I sat down on The Kellie Show and shared pieces of my story, the pain, the battles, the places God had to heal, and how He taught me that my history did not get to determine my identity.

I am not called to live as a victim of what I survived. I am called to walk as a victor in Him.

Your past may explain some of the scars, but it does not have the authority to write the rest of your story. God can take the very thing the enemy intended to destroy you with and use it as evidence of His redemption, His faithfulness, and His power.

These clips are only a small part of the conversation.

Soooo not a fan of being on camera! I’m a behind the scenes girl, BUT, I’ve felt pressed to start sharing so here’s me just starting!

we all have hard, pain, trauma, loss, loneliness, struggle, and uncertainty….

Here is the beginning of a few thoughts that have helped me get unstuck and moving forward.

From the moment I cried out “God, I think my soul’s broken and I’m too tired and hurt to keep trying to move forward”,
He’s shown up to carry me, comfort me, gently correct me, and lead me and the most beautiful path of healing and restoration.

Brokenness became a journey toward healing which somewhere along the way transformed into abiding, rest, joy, worship, and strength.

I just had to get to the end of myself…..saving myself. And everyone around me.

I got to stop being my and everyone else’s savior and simply come into the secret place with my savior and release the heavy lifting to Him.

Not that it’s not work…..it’s just no longer fruitless toil and striving….worry, pushing, powerlessness, weariness.

It’s more like planting a garden together, pruning vines together, taking out the trash together, and enjoying each others company the whole time.

He’s just so good. 😊
