I’m so honored to be friends with the ever so talented @kellisae ! This is her 13th year on @dancingwiththestars #dwts and she treated us to a full VIP experience for my daughter’s 20th birthday. What surprised me the most was how Kelli balances her other bands, vocal coaching clients, life, her dogs, and still finding time for recording house music for producers like me … and many others! What a crazy turn life has recently taken and I’m eternally grateful to my incredible wife @emily.smith79 for making everything possible and giving us this amazing family! Happy Birthday @harley.smith02 and @miaa.bott we love you too!

🎤 Not everyone will understand your vision, and that's okay.

For this week's Mentor Spotlight, we're highlighting award-winning singer, songwriter, performer, and vocal coach Kelli Sae (@kellisae), who joined our 2026 Power 2 Inspire Summer Internship & Mentorship Program to share valuable insights with our Singer-Songwriter Lane on navigating the music industry.

Her message to emerging creatives? Rejection is part of the journey, but it doesn't define your potential.

Stay passionate, believe in your artistry, and keep creating. The people who connect with your voice, vision, and purpose will find you. 💛

💬 "Be ready to deal with rejection." — Kelli Sae

What's one lesson rejection has taught you along your creative journey? 👇🏽

🎵 Soundtrack: “Yesterday” (Instrumental) by Kelli Sae, from her album Heroine.

@groovedisciple_music has teamed up with the formidable @kellisae to deliver an absolute stormer of a track titled "I Surrender", out now for stream & download. If you are looking for a track that perfectly bridges the gap between classic dancefloor euphoria and contemporary production values, this latest release is an essential addition to your record bag.
