EMSP SHOWING 2026• We did it!! 💐🌟
We have been reeling with feelings of gratitude and joy since our inaugural showing took place just a few weeks ago! Art is a powerful thing; it is a means to bring people together. Sharing our joy of dance and watching audience members connect with the pieces in their own respects was a fulfilling experience for us all. Thank you to everyone who made this beautiful evening of dance, community, and connection possible. ♥️
Stay tuned this week for photo collections from each of the pieces that were presented, as well as news about the future of EMSP!

We are so excited to announce that we will be having our inaugural showing of Ela and Mitchy’s Summer Project! A combination of pieces choreographed by the two of us, @elasolmsen & @mitchellxwelsh, on our community of talented New York City based dancers.

We would love for you to join us at our studio performances on July 29th, 2026 at Manhattan Movement Arts Center, at 6PM and 7:30PM

Our goal for this project is to create opportunities for ourselves as choreographers, and to bring a fresh, nuanced perspective of our relationships to gender, sexuality, to our bodies, and most importantly, the joy of dance.

This week at @linesballet has been nothing short of incredible. I am immensely grateful to all the teachers here for introducing and teaching me a new way of movement. Their guidance has truly changed my dancing for the better. Additionally, the people I have met here from all over the country are wonderful. Thank you LINES for an amazing week and the lifelong memories!
