✨ New! "Windows on Latimer: Momentary Visions" ✨ This installation responds to the closure of the University of the Arts and features images made by six rising seniors who were printmaking and photography majors. We are pleased to feature the work of: Kelly Buruca, Isabella Kahn, Maria Kortz, Brittney Mallon, Alex Stevenson and Brielle Walton. • Individually, the images showcase their evolving creative voices. Seen together, they collectively reveal underlying observations and concerns on the tenor of our times. We are pleased to support these emerging artists as they continue to find their artistic voices. • Read more about this project and the artists using the 🔗 link in our bio! Stop by The Print Center to see their fabulous work in our bay window through September 10 and tag #WindowsOnLatimer to share your experience! • Installed in the window from left to right, top to bottom: Maria Kortz (@marve.illus), “The Wendigo” (detail), 2024, linoleum print Kelly Buruca (@kellyburuca), “Transgression 2,” 2024, photogram Isabella Kahn (@isabellakahn), “Leaning On You,” 2023, pigment print Brittney Mallon (@bmallon_illustrations), “Mushroom Cloud 1,” 2024, screenprint Brielle Walton (@art_by_brielle12), “Field of Poppies” (detail), 2024, digital photograph Alex Stevenson (@a.stevensonphoto), “Finding an Ending,” 2024, digital collage • We thank our current intern and former UArts student, Alexis Finley (@alexisfinley25), for her assistance with this project. • #UArts #WeLoveUnicorns #Philadelphia #phlarts #visitphilly #ThePrintCenter #ThePrintCenterPhilly
