Samadhi hits different at 12,000 feet ✨

That moment when you roll out of bed for morning practice and remember you’re not in your apartment anymore… you’re in the PERUVIAN ANDES and the mist is literally rolling through the yoga sun shala 🦅
Day 3 at this hidden retreat and I’ve:
∙ Cried during savasasa (altitude? breakthrough? both?)
∙ Learned my lungs need like 40% more oxygen up here
∙ Made friends with the resident hummingbirds
∙ Discovered that coca tea is not optional, it’s survival
∙ Had the deepest meditation of my life overlooking valleys I can’t even name
The wifi is a myth. My phone is basically a camera. And honestly? Best decision ever.
Sometimes you don’t find yourself in Peru. Peru cracks you open and shows you what was there all along. Somewhere between Cusco and the sacred mountains

the world at large breeds uncertainty, community in sanction guarantees clarity

a week in Sacred Valley brought me back to my roots, my ancestry, my faith in the powerful depths of sisterhood. showing up as a weirdo / artist / outspoken deep feeling shawty in the modern day yoga community isn’t everyones cup of tea, but i think by leaning into my unconventional self is what makes me a natural channel for embracing the enigma’s around. i’m grateful this community opened their hearts to me, since it’s such a free feeling to open your heart up & know it’s in safe hands.

its too easy to show up so fully & unconventionally with these weirdo deep feelers, my little enigma’s ~ finding ourselves in each other through stories & ceremony & mushroom giggles & heartbreak & prayer & dreams. an ode to the truths i remembered & the sisters made for life 🤍🕊️
