What could be hiding in my dirty lash extensions?

If you follow proper lash aftercare, you won’t ever have to wonder what could be hiding in your lash extensions!

5 Reasons Why Cleaning Your Lash Extensions Is Crucial 🫧🫧

1. Hygiene: Regular cleaning helps remove dirt, oil, and debris that can accumulate on your lashes over time. This buildup can create a breeding ground for bacteria.

2. Extension Longevity: Proper cleaning can extend the life of your lash extensions. When natural oils, makeup residue, and other substances build up on the lashes, they can weigh them down or cause them to clump together, resulting in premature shedding.

3. Maintaining Appearance: Clean lashes look fuller, fluffier, and more natural. Removing debris and oil helps your extensions maintain their shape.

4. Preventing Eye Irritation: Accumulated debris can irritate your eyes, leading to discomfort, redness, or itching. Keeping your lashes clean reduces the risk of such irritations.

5. Preserving Adhesive Bond: Oil and dirt can weaken the bond between the extensions and your natural lashes. Cleaning helps maintain a strong bond, preventing premature shedding of the extensions.

THESE ARE A MUST 📣👏🏼🫶🏻

• Clean Your Lashes: Make sure your eyelashes are free of makeup, oils, and any residue. Clean, dry lashes ensure better adhesion for the extensions.

• Avoid Using Oil-Based Products: Refrain from using oil-based makeup or skincare products for at least 24 hours before your appointment as they can interfere with the adhesive.

• Skip Caffeine: Avoid consuming caffeine before your appointment to minimize jitters and ensure you can relax comfortably.

• Shower Beforehand: You won’t be able to get your lashes wet for 24-48 hours after the appointment, so showering beforehand is recommended.

• Avoid Wearing Contacts: If you wear contact lenses, it’s best to remove them and wear glasses to your appointment to prevent irritation.

• Plan for Downtime:Make sure you have enough time allocated for the appointment, as lash extensions can take a couple of hours. Share this reel with your clients and friends so they’ll know too ✨

Brown lash extensions are a fantastic choice for several reasons. Firstly, they provide a softer and more natural look compared to black extensions. This subtle enhancement can be particularly appealing for those who prefer a more understated makeup style or want to achieve a more effortless appearance.

Additionally, brown lash extensions are flattering on individuals with lighter hair colors and complexions. They can complement blonde, light brown, or red hair beautifully, creating a harmonious and balanced overall look. This makes them a versatile option for a wide range of people, regardless of their natural features.

Another benefit of brown lash extensions is their seamless-looking grow-out. As the extensions gradually shed over time, the transition between the natural lashes and the extensions is less noticeable with brown lashes compared to black ones. This means you can enjoy longer intervals between touch-up appointments and maintain a polished appearance with minimal effort.

Overall, brown lash extensions offer a subtle yet effective way to enhance your lashes and elevate your overall look. Whether you’re aiming for a natural everyday look or want to add a touch of softness to a glam makeup look, brown lash extensions can be a fantastic choice ✨
