Food has been my primary medium such a long time, but never been my only work. More and more, I find myself fully embodying the archetype of world building, the beautifying of spaces, and being a creator of sacred moments that invite people into deeper connection with one another. Bringing people together is a practice of ritual, where every table, every conversation, and every thoughtful detail becomes part of something far greater than just meal itself. Looking back, I don’t think I’ve ever just been serving food. I’ve always been creating the conditions for people to experience one another differently. These are little glimpses into those sensorial moments. 🌀

Certified organic watermelon from Givens Farms (Goleta Valley) is one of my favorite that I have had so far this season. I only have 6 of these gorgeous Dark Belle watermelons in stock. Maybe I’ll have more for the weekend delivery. There are few seeds that I happily crunch through when enjoying a bite. The seeds are reportedly packed with zinc, iron, potassium and protein. As well as, packed with monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats which may help lower bad cholesterol. Why do we avoid them?! Crunch through it for best absorption or better yet, roast them in oven for 15 minutes to really benefit from these nutrients. Enjoy 🍉 #farmtohome #smfm #givensfarm #californiagrown
