What a journey my first year with @luxol.basketball has been.

Shifting from men's football to women's basketball required a complete mindset shift to meet specific needs of the game, but it has been a rewarding process from day one.

A massive thanks to coach @rodvella4 for the opportunity and trust, it's always a great pleasure working together!

A big thank you and well done goes to the girls who were the true protagonists of this season. They are the ones who showed up, embraced the shift in training, and did the work. The results we achieved were simply the byproduct of that daily commitment.

Senior National Champions 🏆

U23 National Champions 🏆

U19 National Champions 🏆

A perfect 10-0 playoff run is the objective proof of the intensity this group maintained throughout.

Thanks to the coaching staff @lukecamilleri6486, @nadiavella12 and @fenechpace.

And the committee at @luxol.basketball.

Last but not least my support system @jubillie__ thank you for all you do and your never ending support ❤️

Season 25/26 over and out! 💜🏆

3-0. Cafe Moak LUXOL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 🏆

At the start of the season, not many would have backed this young Luxol group. Today they wrote their OWN story.🫡

Most of this squad also lifted the U19 and U23 titles this season. To follow that with a 3-0 sweep in a five-game FINALS playoff series at senior level is a massive achievement.🤯

What defined this team all season was discipline, character, and togetherness. In all three finals, the second half belonged to LUXOL. Defense, heart, composure, and belief — every single time the game demanded more, this GROUP found another level.

We are honestly speechless at what this team has achieved.😱🤩

A huge thank you to the committee, the entire coaching staff, our supporters who stood with us every step of the way, and our sponsors who backed this journey from day one.

Special credit to coach Roderick for developing these players and guiding them to such a special moment.

And a huge congratulations to Olivia Wikstrom for an outstanding season — playoff Finals MVP, and after also collecting three Player of the Month awards, a player who delivered when it mattered most.

Three trophies. One young team. One UNFORGETTABLE season.

🔥 IT’S FINALS TIME 🔥

Game 2. Tomorrow. 20:20. Ta’ Qali.

We took Game 1 on Sunday… but the job is far from finished. This is a 5-game battle, and every possession counts.

Now it’s time to defend our lead! 💜

We need YOU in the stands!

Too young, they said. 🙄

Most of this Luxol team is barely at the legal drinking age in Malta—yet here we are, in the finals. 💪

A 43–53 win over Depiro in Game 2 seals a 2–0 semi-final sweep. No one expected this, but this group has shown heart, discipline, and belief all season. 💜

Finals bound. Let’s go!!!
