Members, please welcome Kelly Marler to this week’s spotlight!

She is one of the newest additions to our Basecamp family, and we are thrilled to have her coming in to our doors! She was introduced to us through her close friend and fellow USC cheerleader, Laurel, and they love coming to class together and crushing it!

The high-energy atmosphere built by both the workouts and the people are what drew her in immediately. She finds herself motivated by fellow classmates to keep going when the workout gets tough. Full body days are her favorite because they give her a mix of everything in one class, and she feels the most mentally and physically challenged in them.

Kelly’s main goal is to keep a consistent routine. Balancing school and cheerleading keeps her very busy, especially as she is cheering on the football team at Williams-Brice stadium! She wants to continue getting stronger while also staying consistent. Getting in strength training brings in a lot of direct benefit for her when she is cheering, due to the athletic demands and intensity that comes along with the sport.

She is also a student in the MBA Program at the Darla Moore School of Business. While she is not busy with school or cheer, she cherishes spending quality time with her friends and family. She enjoys going shopping, trying new coffee shops, and going on walks whenever she can.
