Missed yesterdays Instagram live on the mind-connection? You can watch it on playback by clicking the link in the bio at the top of the page.

It was an delightful, and insightful 3 way discussion on what the mind-body connection means to each of us - both personally and professionally.

The discussion concluded with the question, "Do you think you can heal without the mind-body connection?" Find out how it we responded in the full video.

Thank you to the host @talk_allaboutit and healing coach @rebeccabeecoaching for such a great collaborative exchange - my first Instagram live!

The mind-body connection is something which has held my fascination for over two decades now (it's a long story!).

So I'm always open to hearing new perspectives on how significant the mind-body approach has been to others, as well as being interested in exploring new ways for this refreshing standpoint to support our wellbeing.

I'm excited to be a part of a Live 3 way discussion - sharing 3 points of view - with Cynthia @talk_allaboutit allaboutit and Rebecca @rebeccabeecoaching

We'd love you to be a part of the live conversion (come on over to the @talk_allaboutit page ) on July 1st at 4pm (GMT)/1am (EST).

I'm a tree hugger.🌳

This one's a 300 year old specimen, aparently the oldest in London - crowned Britains most valuable tree (according to the Daily Mail).

This London plane tree is one of my favourites tree's to connect with - it's deep rooted energy is tangible to me.

I enjoy being in its presence.

Don't forget to show your love and appreciation for the beautifully serene gifts of nature.

Clear your energy ...hug a tree often! 🌳

Hi my name is Kelly and I'm a regisrered osteopath and integrative life coach. 👋🏽

I first discovered osteopathy (and it's unique approach to stimulating the body's inherent healing responses) at the age of 21.

After receiving my first treatment, I immediately fell in love with it's natural healing philosophies and practices of 'hands on' holistic health support.

Now 20 years on, I'm still excited by the scope and beneficial healing effects this treatment modality has to offer.

My relationship with life coaching began through my own person journey. As a young person, I learned to overcome feelings of insecurity, poor self confidence and low self esteem ...the long way!

In my twenties, I journeyed through exploration, self discovery and self help with the reading materials, mentors and life experiences that came my way.

The more personal growth I enjoyed, the more I recognised and explored new ways to develop myself further.

This change in my character has ultimately lead to greater emotional freedom and personal happiness - alongside an "I can" attitude (which is very much reflected in the life that I live today).

I've learned to find balance in my life - embracing uncertainty, and postivitively working through the challenges that inevitably come my way (a universal truth!).

As a result, I've steadily found myself fulfilling a natural coaching role.

My training refined the ways that I was able to more effectively support others through a process of change.

Having seen, felt and directly influenced the relationship within the MindBody complex, it made sense to focus more of my attention here. I see an integrated MindBody approach as an effective way to cultivate an optimised environment for healing to occur.

Today, this remains my primary focus. I aim to help others acheive increasing vitality, health and wellbeing, through an integrated MindBody approach.

I'm interested to learn more about you. Say something about what you've overcome along your growth journey?

If my hands 🖐🏽 could tell their story, I wonder what they might they say.

These hands of mine have provided a gateway to so much invaluable information and to this day continue to be integral to shaping my deepest Innerstandings.

When I was much younger, I couldn't have known how important my hands would become in shaping how I communicated with others. I didn't realise how fundemental they'd become in the exploration of my own identity.

Massage training and the experiences gained throughout my early adult life saw the beginning of a desire to understand the changing physical states in others.

Osteopathic training advanced my palpation and handling skills, as well as my ability to influence and guide what was unfolding beneath the surface.

My training and interest in the subtlety of the Cranial Osteopathic approach opened the doorway to the deepest level of seeing and initiating changes in others through the power of touch. This developed within me a level of attunement I didnt know was possible for me to reach.

26 years on, the greatness of what I'm now able to perceive, understand and communicate through my hands has undoubtably exceeded any expectations I ever held. My hands have effectively bridged a gap of limitation between what is seen with the eyes only - to seeing/experiencing through the fullness of my being. They have been instrumental in my connection to an intuitive guidance of immeasurable value.

Perhaps they'd say, "you have come to better understand unity, the nature of man and his intrinsic interconnectedness. We've provided for you a valuable tool to experience the fullness of reality, and you have chosen to use it. There is more yet to come."

What a fascinating journey thus far. I am most grateful. 🙏🏽

A day in clinical practice is something I've come to look forward to - especially during such a restrictive time - globally!

I made the choice to practice just 3 days a week - well over 10 years ago now! Why? Because I've learned to uphold one of my favourite core principles - and that is to honour me!

Now does this mean that I prioritise myself over others? No, it doesn't! But what it does mean, is that I give due consideration to my own wants and needs in the vast majority of choices that I make. I enjoy inward smiles, therefore I choose to recognise how my choices impact upon my own internal balance and wellbeing.

Ultimately, I'm allowing myself the opportunity to genuinely enjoy my work, by not spreading myself too thinly and making demands of myself that are more suited to a machine! 😄 This has the added effect of allowing me to 'show up' with a good level of vitality, enthusiasm for helping others and clarity of mind to effectively fulfil my roles.

Working part time 'clinical' hours means that I allow myself to be much more efficient in life - full-time! This means, not only am I there for myself (as my own biggest supporter!), but I'm also 'available' for my 12 year old son - which absolutely supports my capacity to smile inwardly.

So here I am, enjoying another day in the office. Embracing the opportunities for mutual exploration, personal development, and healing that the exchanges here so often bring.

Hopefully, you too are enjoying your days in the office - be it at work or from home - honouring yourself!
