What happens when we pause to listen?

This Climate Week, we’re celebrating Blue Heart Ambassador Shaelynne Bood @kelpingitreal, a third-generation kelp harvester whose work shows how small, intentional choices can have a lasting impact. Because when we listen to nature, we can care for it more thoughtfully.

When was the last time you took the time to listen? Share your thoughts below.

Introducing Archie’s new little brother 🐈‍⬛

My dear friend @kelpingitreal had been fostering this litter of kittens and I went to meet them with absolutely no intention of bringing one home.

He was the tiniest but bravest of the bunch and I was immediately emotionally manipulated by a kitten who weighs approximately nothing.

He doesn’t have a name yet, but he does already have a big brother who absolutely adores him. Archie has been so sweet with him and watching them become little buddies has been the best part.

So… what should I name him? I’m open to suggestions. 🐾

Happy big 3-0 to Shae Boody 💙 @kelpingitreal

Feeling pretty lucky to have known you for so many years and even luckier to have worked alongside you in so many different ways over the past handful of years. Watching everything you’ve built and the person you’ve become has been so inspiring.

I could say a million things, but more than anything, I’m just so damn proud of you. Here’s to the next decade, you deserve every bit of what’s coming your way. Happy birthday! 🥂💙

Where plant medicine meets science.

At RavenSong, we honour the truth that Indigenous knowledge has always been science rooted in observation, innovation, and deep relationship with the land.

This work is about more than the present. It is about walking in two worlds, bringing together ancestral knowledge and modern research to create a future grounded in regeneration, not extraction.

Supporting Indigenous women in STEM is not about entering new spaces. It is about reclaiming what has always been ours.

More to come Summer 2026.

These days, taking photos with my iPhone has been really calming. Focusing on the present and soaking it all in.
