Some places hold you tighter than you’ll ever admit. Mine’s got a skyline, a ballclub, and the kind of roots you don’t outgrow.

Feeling beyond blessed and deeply honored to have had the opportunity to travel to Honduras🇭🇳 with OneWorldHealth and help provide medical care to underserved communities.

Over the course of 5 days, we were able to serve 892 people, each with their own story, strength, and spirit. I met some truly incredible people who reminded me of the power of compassion, resilience, and human connection. This experience has touched my heart in ways I’ll carry with me forever. 🥹💙🤍

The trip of a lifetime 🩵

An unforgettable week in Honduras with OneWorld Health. I had the opportunity to set up and serve at mobile medical clinics in 5 rural communities, serving nearly 900 patients with doctor visits and essential medications (ibuprofen, cough medicine, and antibiotics) - simple care that’s otherwise out of reach in a country with no government healthcare system.

Basic healthcare procedures such as standing on a scale or lining up for height measurements are completely foreign to these communities. It was a reminder how much we take for granted and how we live in a constant state of overconsumption, while there are so many other things going on in the world.

Thank you Honduras for grounding me and giving me unforgettable memories and friendships. The gratitude and perspective I have gained are things I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Stepping outside of your comfort zone is always worth it.

You will always have a piece of my heart Honduras 🇭🇳

The most unforgettable week serving with One World Health. They believe that having access to basic healthcare should not be determined by where you live, how you grow up, or how much money you have. This week we travelled to 5 villages in rural Honduras and were able to help 892 patients in need receive free healthcare. One World Health—because healthcare should know no boundaries 🌎❤️
