Most financial products are designed to get you to spend more.

We built Symphony to do the opposite.

On @kelsey_graves @triptalespodcast, our CBO and Co-Founder, @mr.jamesberry, shares how Symphony went from powering fintech companies to creating an app that rewards people for saving, building wealth, and seeing more of the world ✈️

I think it’s time. ✨ I’ve been sitting on this for awhile. Change is weird. But I have new photos and I want to incorporate them into my Trip Tales podcast cover art. 🩵 I haven’t changed the podcast cover yet, but if y’all approve, I’ll probably update it by Monday. 🫶 Do we like?! Similar vibes as before - but maybe a bit more elevated and professional. 🤔 Let me know!!! 🩵🫶✨

Vote in the poll below! Would you order off the Water Menu and pay for specialty water on Disney Cruise Line? 🚢

My guest @kids_travel_tales says it’s fantastic! 💦

However - I might have to fight her that it’s *better* than ordering a cocktail! 😂

For more from this @triptalespodcast episode about Disney Cruises, booking Concierge Level, and water menus - comment DCL and I’ll send you the full episode!

Disney Cruise in October during hurricane season? Kelsey Graves learned the hard way. 🌀🚢

Kelsey and her family boarded the Disney Wish in October 2024 while Hurricane Milton was brewing. She’d read cruise forums saying not to worry—the captain could find calmer water.

Then came night one.

The ship was rocking enough that adults were stumbling down the hallways and joking, “I promise I haven’t been drinking.”

And that was only the beginning.

@kelsey_graves started feeling motion sick, her daughter got a stomach bug, and then they learned Hurricane Milton had forced Port Canaveral to close.

Their 4-night Disney Cruise became a 6-night Disney Cruise.

Some Disney Cruise fans were thrilled about two extra nights.

Kelsey? Not so much. 😂

Universal Orlando with younger kids CAN work—but Kelsey says her older kids definitely enjoyed it more. 🎢

On their multigenerational Disney + Universal vacation, @kelsey_graves family had kids of different ages, so they had to make Universal work for everyone.

The younger kids still had things to do, including Seuss Landing and the carousel at Epic Universe. But when it came to the BIG attractions—like Stardust Racers and Monsters Unchained—the older kids had the advantage.

Kelsey’s takeaway? Once kids are around 10+ and ready for bigger coasters, Universal gets a whole lot more fun.

For younger kids, she says Disney still does a better job catering to that age group.

On this Disney Cruise during hurricane season, everything that could go wrong… pretty much did. 🌀🚢

Kelsey Graves booked her family’s first Disney Cruise on the Disney Wish—and the problems started almost immediately.

The ship was rocking. @kelsey_graves got motion sick. Her oldest came down with a stomach bug that led to a 3 a.m. visit at the Disney Wish health center.

And then Hurricane Milton closed Port Canaveral.

Their planned 4-night Disney Cruise turned into SIX nights because the ship couldn’t return to port. 🌊

Some Disney Cruise fans were thrilled to get two unexpected extra days onboard. Kelsey had reached the “we live here now” stage. 😂

And somehow? Her kids still liked the cruise.

One 4-night Disney Cruise turned into SIX nights. 🌀🚢

@kelsey_graves was sailing on the Disney Wish during Hurricane Milton when the captain made an unexpected announcement:

Port Canaveral was closed. They weren’t going back yet.

Kelsey’s immediate thought? “We are stuck on the high seas for who knows how long.”

Their October Disney Cruise was supposed to be four nights. Instead, Hurricane Milton kept the Wish at sea for two extra nights, and Disney had to cancel the cruise scheduled to depart after theirs.

Some Disney Cruise fans were thrilled to get two bonus nights onboard.

Kelsey’s family had reached the point where they were basically thinking, “We live here now.” 😂

Ever go on vacation where you’re like, “That was fun…but I’m ready to go home?” 😅

Spring Break 2026 in Hilton Head was the complete opposite.

We wanted to stay longer.

The seed for this trip was planted during Spring Break 2025 when we stayed at @beachhousehhi . We loved the location, pool, beach access, and being steps from Coligny Plaza. But sharing one hotel room, no gym, eating every meal out, and no laundry had me dreaming about something a little different.

That’s when I spotted Ocean Oak Resort by @hiltongrandvacations

Full kitchen. Laundry. Gym. Two bedrooms. Beachfront. Sold.

We rarely repeat destinations in back-to-back years, but this one was worth it.

The best part? How easy it felt.

🏃‍♀️ Morning workout
🌅 Sunrise on the beach
🚲 Bike ride to breakfast
🏖️ Beach and tide pools
🌮 Lunch in our place
🏊 Pool time
🍽️ Dinner at our favorite restaurants
🍦 Ice cream to end the night

Repeat.

Nothing was rushed. Nothing was overplanned. Nobody was burned out.

Just comfortable family vacation days that somehow felt even better than home.

Maybe that’s the lesson: the best vacations aren’t always the ones packed with activities. Sometimes they’re the ones where you simply keep the routines you love…with a beach view. ☀️🏝️

🎙️ I recently chatted with @kelsey_graves on the @triptalespodcast all about our Hilton Head Spring Break experience, where we stayed, what we loved, and our favorite spots around the island.
