Virtual or In Person… both beautiful in their own way.

In person, we gather.
We feel the energy in the room, the shared breath, the quiet moments between movement.
There is connection, presence, and community.

Online, we soften into our own space.
We move at our own pace, revisit teachings, and integrate in a way that fits into real life.
There is accessibility, reflection, and independence.

Neither is better.
Just different.

And both hold so much value.

Whether you join us on your mat at home or in the studio, you are part of something meaningful.

Next Virtual YTT begins May 9
Next In Person Begins Sept 26 #yogateachertraining #yoga #becomeayogateacher #ytt

Surya Namaskar
Sun Salutations

A moving meditation.
A return to breath.
A reminder that we don’t have to force our way through life.

Each inhale creates space.
Each exhale softens, releases, guides.

When we let the breath lead, movement becomes less about doing and more about feeling.
Less about control and more about trust.

This is the practice.
To flow, to listen, to come back to yourself again and again.

At Divine Aura Yoga School, we don’t just learn sequences, we learn how to move through life with awareness, presence, and intention.

If you feel called to deepen your practice and step into teaching, our 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training begins soon.
Message us or apply through the link in bio.

Meet Kelsey — Holistic Nutritionist, Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher, Sound Journey Practitioner, and a deeply valued part of our YTT faculty.

Kelsey doesn’t believe yoga is defined by touching your toes or perfecting inversions. For her, yoga is the art of connecting to your breath, your body, and the wisdom that lives beneath the surface. It’s where discernment, mindfulness, interoception, and nervous system regulation begin — and where confidence and self-awareness grow.

Her practice shifted from fast-paced, high-heat classes to the slower, deeper work: the stillness that’s uncomfortable, the pauses that ask you to listen, and the moments that invite you to stay when you want to run.

This is where true healing happens —
the moment you choose discomfort over ease,
the moment you pause instead of rushing,
the moment you stay and breathe,
the moment you reach for the prop even if no one else does.

Whether you’re deepening your practice or preparing to teach, Kelsey hopes your YTT journey helps you reconnect with your Self, claim your confident voice, and nourish the parts of you that long to be seen, heard, and loved.

We’re so excited to learn, move, and grow together.

Yesterday was the perfect reminder of why I fell in love with this work.

Simply put there is just something so powerful about coming together for a shared experience as a means to acknowledge the humanity in each & every one of us (including ourselves bc let’s be honest we are often our harshest critic).

Because when we can take the time to consciously acknowledge the humanness in ourselves & each other and we let go of it needing to look a certain way and the pressure that holds us back can start to dissipate.

There are no magic tricks & no easy fixes but coming together and being present with each other through this bumpy ride of life makes it a whole lot better.

It just happens that the breath is personally one of my favourite tools bc it has the ability to connect in so many ways.

But @roubaboushnak @livelovelifeyoga @wholesoulmehealing demonstrate so intuitively how music might be your connection point or, self massage, or nutrition, etc. etc.

Working with these ladies was such a treat. I didn’t realize how much I had truly missed all of this & I cannot wait until the next one!!

I’ve known Jackie, Rouba & Kelsey for many years now but this being the first time I’ve had the privilege to collaborate with any of them.

So in playful honouring of our joining together “an unbreakable circle” was created as the title for our means to communicate.

At the time I didn’t really think too much about the significance…

I believe it’s the bonds of community, the unbreakable circle, that make us stronger as a people. We thrive more by having each other.

We are allowed disagreements, we are allowed to hold big emotions like anger and frustrations bc humans are messy & must never be expected to be perfect. And so a a relationship built on a foundation of mutual respect & support honour the messy & see to the beauty inside it all looking for the common ground we all share as a means to move forward together.

*this excludes cases of conscious harm & disrespect, which is a whole other subject.

From my perspective relationships take effort & consideration bc to me that’s what being in relationship is; it’s a 2 way street. It’s an active, not a passive role.

But life is such an over demanding relentless confusing cesspool right now that I feel like it’s hard to even know what is up or down & everyone is exhausted. Not to mention how muddled everything feels.

Being bombarded with so much all the time there is barely any time to take care of self that the concept of community care can feel even more nonessential. Because who has time for that?

But this is where I think we’ve lost our way a little. Because this is what I think we need more than ever.

Turning away from our digital worlds & turning more to our communities for support.

Finding those unbreakable bonds in each other.

Finding our resiliency in each other.

We need each other.

Join us in community this sat November 8th 9am-1pm

And get a button to remember your unbreakable bonds with each other!!
