We did it! @jahnnabeecham and I wrote a play. “The Best Halloween Ever” had its world premiere this past weekend, and it truly was the best, with all the tricks, treats, and heart of Barbara Robinson’s wonderful book. Thank you to @dimitritoscas and the amazing cast for knocking it out of the park! And thank you to @concordshows and @orlandofamilystage for making this all possible, and to Barbara Robinson’s family for trusting us to adapt her hilarious and heart warming words.

Having the playwrights, Barbara Robinson‘s family, and @concordshows with us on opening weekend was a thrill. This supportive team made THE BEST HALLOWEEN EVER a delightful experience I will not soon forget! Also… I love this picture of my cast. It makes me happy. 😊 They’re a TERRIFIC group of talented humans. Thank you for everything you offered to this project. I adore you all. 🥰

Today • the FIRST public performance of THE BEST HALLOWEEN EVER • at @orlandofamilystage • world premiere opening • @jahnnabeecham & @skyehillgartner created a wonderfully charming (and appropriately spooky) Halloween where things aren’t always what they appear to be • it was a joy to direct this production from top to bottom • GREAT cast with a lot of heart • creative team of designers to make the world spring to life • now all that’s left to make an alchemy of magic is YOU!

Stop by #Orlando Family Stage for a once-in-a-lifetime chance to be the first people ever to see this world premiere play! Live on stage! It’s a Halloween surprise you won’t forget. 🧡🧡🧡

Thanks @jeffreyrevels for having me. And to EVERYONE at Orlando Family Stage (I couldn’t tag you all here) I adore you all! Thank you for all the hard work and energy! It made the whole experience a joy! I don’t think I’ll ever forget it.

Everyone has iconic stories and almost no place to share them.

So we made one.

Excited to announce the second rendition of SHALL WE YAP? - a story + song cabaret built on personal lore, storytelling, and music as narrative.
