Last weekend, our sister Kelsey went to the Chi Omega Convention in Phoenix, Arizona! Read about her experience below! ❤️💛🦉

“I am so greatful and beyond blessed to have attended the 66th biannual convention this past weekend. Attending convention has been one of the most impactful experiences I have had in Chi Omega, and made me even more proud and amazed at our beautiful sisterhood. During my time I got to meet so many amazing inspiring fellow collegians, hear inspiring speeches from alumni and our Supreme National governing Council, voted on bylaws that will affect the future of our fraternity, experienced a full model initiation, and engaged in formative conversations with my advisors and alumni sisters. I think this is one of the greatest gifts of chi omega - the intergenerational relationships that are formed between members and their advisors.

Convention is a time of celebration of the accomplishments of our sorority as a whole and of our individual chapters and I have never been more proud of be a Kappa Lambda than during our keynote speech by Kate Rubins, a NASA astronaut, scientist, and alumni of UC San Diego.

I am more excited than ever to get back to work in the fall quarter and look forward to bringing all the amazing motivation and enthusiasm I gained to our upcoming recruitment season!”

Chi Omega Convention 2026!🦉☠️❤️

This weekend brought me back to my “Why.” As a leader, it is so easy to get caught up in what you’re doing, that you forget the whole reason why you’re doing it. I joined Chi Omega because of the values of we share and the sisterhood that that truly lasts a lifetime. This weekend was filled with laughter, tears, light, and most importantly, love. It’s an honor to lead beside women who are full of integrity, grit, and friendship. The love I have for Chi Omega goes beyond anything words can say. I am so proud to be a part of an organization with such incredible women! Thank you Rho Kappa for choosing me worthy of such an honor!❤️💛 #LICO
