When your dad drops off a framed, hand written version of your favourite quote 🖤 ⁣⁣#allthefeels ⁣ “...let everyone else call your idea crazy... just keep going. Don’t stop. Don’t even think about stopping until you get there, and don’t give much thought to where “there” is. Whatever comes, just don’t stop.” - Phil Knight, Shoe Dog ⁣ ⁣⁣ Sigh 🥰 Just the fuel I needed to “keep going” 😉 👊🏼 Thanks for lending it to me @krystaldarling7 👉🏼 Friends, have you read Shoe Dog? I’m super late to the game, but it was perfect timing. Any inspirational book reco’s - hit us up below! 📖⚡️⁣ ⁣⁣ Ps - join us tonight at 8pm for a special tribute to an old #Laurier teammate 💜💛#burpeesforbobby @wlucheerleading @laurieralumni

Phone anxiety is no joke my friends. ⁣ ⁣ Back in the day, every time my phone would vibrate, it would trigger my anxiety. ⁣ ⁣ I rarely picked up the phone even when I really wanted to talk to the person calling. ⁣ ⁣ If a phone call was coming in I would just stare at my phone thinking to myself “please, please, pleasssse don’t leave a voicemail”⁣ ⁣ I honesty don’t think I checked my voicemails for an entire year once. ⁣ ⁣ BBM messages would go unread for dayssss (remember those?) ⁣ ⁣ I wanted to answer. I did want to talk to them. I just couldn’t. ⁣ ⁣ For those who don’t experience anxiety on that level, they don’t understand why you’re not answering and it can be extremely frustrating for them. I get it. ⁣ ⁣ Me not responding was nothing personal. I wasn’t being shady or “ghosting”. I just could not muster up the energy to engage in any type of conversation. That’s how exhausting living with anxiety can be. ⁣ ⁣ If this is you - you’re not alone. ⁣ ⁣ My friend @kelsibyers came up with some awesome text messages you can send when your anxiety is high & you just don’t have the mental energy to respond. ⁣ ⁣ 👉 Swipe to check them out 👉 and save for the next time you need them 💜⁣ ⁣ Pic from: @thewildfeminine
