New work for @sidneybirdmusic “Brooklyn Baby” out today!

Had a blast building a larger-than-life set for Sidney here. We rented a 16’x24’ backdrop from @oliphantstudio & had custom stage letters cut. We used @prismlensfx Dream & split-diopter filters to get some incredible shots. We also crafted an awesome 3-level dynamic lighting series utilizing @aputure.lighting ‘s amazing bluetooth tech. So fun!

In love with how this came out, great job to the entire team! Link in stories to view in full.

Tried doing some moderately experimental stuff on this shoot with lens abstractions and different techniques. Here’s daylight mixed with a red gel, then shot through glass I painted with acrylic and then pushed through a heavy black white grade. Kinda worked, hoping to get more chances to experiment and refine this.
