Bonjour to all our new followers! 🤍

We’ve welcomed so many new people to the Bon Fromage community lately, and I thought it was the perfect time to share a little more about the inspiration, passion and chance encounter that started it all.

What began as a little idea during a trip to Tuscany has become one of the most rewarding adventures of my life.

Whether you’ve been following since day one or just discovered us, merci for being here and sharing in our journey!

Swipe through for our story and a few fun facts about me! 🥂

Well, everyone. I did it.

I have officially ✨GONE VIRAL.✨

Please hold your applause.

A few days ago, I made a post about unplugged wedding ceremonies and apparently the internet decided it was worthy of being shown to EVERYONE because that post now has over 300,000 views.

THREE. HUNDRED. THOUSAND.

I feel like this is the moment where I'm supposed to tell you my business exploded overnight. My follower count skyrocketed. My inbox is overflowing. Instagram personally mailed me a trophy.

Except...

Nothing happened. 😂

Like... literally nothing.

300,000+ people wandered through my little corner of the internet, looked at my post, a whole bunch of them hit the little heart button...

and then they left.

That's it.

No sudden influx of followers. No dramatic increase in business. No newfound internet fame.

Just 300,000 people essentially walking past me, giving me a thumbs up, and continuing on with their day. 😂

My follower count said, “That's cute.”

So apparently I have finally achieved the elusive Instagram goal of going viral, and I would just like to know...

WHAT WAS THE POINT?!

I thought going viral was supposed to unlock some secret level of Instagram where suddenly thousands of people follow you and brands send you free things and you retire at 42.

Instead, I got 300,000 views and the satisfaction of knowing that a truly absurd number of strangers now know exactly how I feel about cell phones at wedding ceremonies.

So anyway.

I made it, guys.

I am an influencer now.

Please respect my privacy during this exciting time. 😂

The best things we share aren’t always served from our charcuterie cart. 🤍

When I started Bon Fromage, giving back was always part of the vision. I wanted to create memorable experiences around food while building a business centered in generosity and kindness.

Today, I’m proud to introduce Avec Cœur, French for With Heart, our monthly giving program. Each month, we donate a portion of our earnings to a nonprofit whose work is making a meaningful difference.

🤍 August: Old Pine Community Center
🤍 September: Conservation Voters of PA
🤍 October: Bridgeport Neighborhoods Together

To everyone who has invited us to be part of their celebrations, thank you. Your support allows us to extend our impact far beyond the events we serve.

Our success means even more when we can share it with the communities that made it possible.

Avec cœur, Emilee 🤍

Hotel Bethlehem ✨

Today, 9 years ago I said , “ I DO!”

When I look back on my own wedding day as someone who works in the industry, here are the things that I remember and would tell bridal me 😊

1. It’s YOUR wedding day, pick what makes you happy 🤍
2. The little things that “ go wrong,” don’t matter !
3. Picking the photographer you truly love is so important 📸 even 9 years later , it was one of the best investments of our wedding day !
4. Hire a coordinator or planner ! I was so so organized and then the day came , and my venue coordinator was no where to be found ! I had to have my bridesmaids run errands for me the morning of to make sure things were being taken care of before my first look . This is when I learned first hand that a venue coordinators job is the venue !
5. Who you marry is SO INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT ✨ my husband has been there through all the highs and the lows . We’ve had many adventures , many laughs and many cries together and I would choose to marry him and that day over & over ! 🤍

POV: you realized your wedding venue can be both historic AND chic.

A little timeless charm. A little modern luxury. A whole lot of “yeah, this is exactly where we’re supposed to get married.”

Because at Melhorn Manor, we think the chicest choice is one that looks beautiful, feels effortless, and lets you actually enjoy your wedding day.

So… booking Melhorn Manor?
Kinda chic.

Bonjour, August. ☀️🧀

Summer has been nothing short of incredible and we have all of you to thank.

We’re officially fully booked for August! With our team taking a little well-earned vacation before a busy fall season, our availability this month was limited.

Looking ahead, September is filling quickly. We are open during the first two weeks before our remaining dates are spoken for.

If you’d still like to experience Bon Fromage this summer, we’ll be at our final public event of the season on August 20 at @oldpinecommunitycenter . Tickets are available on their website, and we’d love to see you there!

As we take a moment to reflect, we’re so grateful for this summer:
🧀 8 events in June
🧀 6 events in July
🧀 3 events in August

Every booking, every guest, every kind comment, share, and follow has helped us grow over the past year.

Merci for being part of the Bon Fromage story. We can’t wait to celebrate with you this fall. 🤍

A perfect way to make your head table or centered long reception tables stand out is to add a cascading floral end cap. This particular install is creatively dramatic, but any floral waterfalling off the end of a table gives an instant feeling of “luxe”, even if the tabletop itself is more modest with bud vases and candles. Whether added to both ends or just the end that faces the entrance as a welcoming moment, this is an option to consider 💁🏼‍♀️😍🌸
