2025 year was a wild one in this crazy world. I managed my anxieties in my own way, with knitting, stress baking, plants, and tattoos. I hope 2026 is a year that brings hope and kindness.

A week on the beach was just what we needed to convince us we needed more! We’ve been on this little spit and pretty much loving it!
It may be a bit windy, but the sunny blue skies are a gem. We have met some amazing travelers, traded stories of adventures, eaten delicious food, enjoyed quiet starry nights and were reminded of Africa when some people were posing in front of our camper for photos.

Better late than never seems to be the motto in my garden. As if trying to teach me the patience I am sorely lacking in other areas of my life, everything I plant stubbornly blooms two weeks after I see everyone else’s crops of blooms flooding Instagram. But this particular peony bush is very special to me, for reasons that will become obvious if you swipe, and worth the wait.

Today marks two things - my 41st birthday🥳, and 2.5 years at my studio 🧡. I have had THE best past couple of years at work. I never intended to have this studio for so long. It was supposed to be a '6 months and done thing'. Infact i even came across it by accident looking in the wrong place on Craigslist 🤣 I appreciate my small space so much, and my wonderful landlord, who sadly passed away last month, was a treasure of a person 🥰 I have had the most wonderful clients the past few years and i am so completely overwhelmed with gratitude as to how many of you return to me time and time again - it really means the world. I have felt more grounded and happy here than I have done almost anywhere in my life. A huge huge thankyou to everyone who travels far and wide to visit me for work. You guys rock! 🤟
