@keltx_uk photo round up:

☑️ Writing station splits on arms in the warm-up zone. Very high tech.
☑️ Glitter still in the bag from Gem’s last @rox_queens race. Obviously had to use it.
☑️ No need for start-line photos. Turns out a few people had already seen us sprinting off.
☑️ The go-to finish-line photo.
☑️ The podium shot. 🏅

KeltX is an awesome event, with proper Cornish hospitality from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. It’s brilliantly put together, a great place to race and surrounded by the best people. Worth crossing the border for. Can’t wait for the next one already. We will be back for sure.

It was a tough week for both of us going into it, but that’s racing. More experience, more lessons learnt in a new to us race format and, most importantly, more fun competing with @gems_inmotion

👊 Shout out to @zone_8_breathing for the breathing support.
🤝 And to the @theroxguys for the grip. I nearly launched a kettlebell into the crowd, but I’m blaming my technique rather than the gloves. 😂

⛑️ Recovery starts straight away ahead of Brum, which means sitting in @pulsioofficial and drinking hot chocolate.

🏁The race splits are getting more and more dialled in, and the plan is coming together.

🪎 Thanks to @xendurance_eu for the win bonus. Time to go shopping.

Birmingham Hyrox incoming with a whole bunch of racing on the cards. Proper excited for that one. Next up with Gem: London HYROX. Unless I’ve forgotten something in between as we seem to be racing every other week at the moment. 🤦‍♂️

More racing. More learning. Same old JERK behaviour. 🖤💪

Now that the dust has settled and the professional photos are back, I still can’t believe we won.

It wasn’t easy or pretty (well for me it wasn’t pretty 🤣Agatha looks bloody gorgeous 😘), as the photos show I dug deep from the get go to the finish line, gritted teeth and all. With @agathaefit belief and encouragement (and a energy gel 😜) it showed me age is irrelevant, instead hard work, determination, knowing each others strengths and value is all you need for a great team 🤩

Just want to say thank you to the photographer (apologies for not tagging you unsure who took these pics)
Thank you @keltx_uk they have something amazing down here in the Southwest, an incredible event of high standards, immaculately put together, an amazing team better than any other event of its kind 🫶

Great weekend of racing at @keltx_uk RCS. After our disappointing first run out together in July, I knew me and Luke had much more to give. A massive PB for us and a perfectly executed race, in a tough wave. With plenty of room to still improve.

So much fun in the mixed relay, taking 🥇 was a huge confidence boost and what an opportunity to race with @megbeckly again without too much DOMS🥲

Roll on Birmingham next Friday!

Last Friday I completed a relay with 3 incredible ladies who pushed every last bit of energy out of me. Surrounding yourself by strong people makes you send it so much more, including all the other athletes, supporters!🫶🏼 🥈 place!! Sooo happy! Having soooo many people cheering us on from the gym and other family members is pretty damn special 💛
Bring on the next bunch with these ladies 🫶🏼

For Joni, who’s watching me now, and for the 80-year-old me who’ll be glad I did the thing ❤️‍🔥
