PART 2 (continuation)
COSTLY GRACE! 👉costly grace confronts us as a gracious call to follow Jesus
👉It comes as a word of forgiveness to the broken spirit and to a contrite heart
👉 It is costly because it compels a man to submit to the yoke of Christ and to follow Him. 👉 It is grace because Jesus said "My yoke is easy and my burden is light".
.➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
In your quest to becoming an effective believer, or a disciple of Jesus Christ, you'll discover that decisions or your choices that you make in your life will play a very important role in your Christian life. Why? Because decisions determine destinies! .

The choices you make is a revelation of your character. It is the unravelling of who you really are.
Decisions will determine the cause of actions and your cause of actions will determine your acquirement, your accomplishments, or your ailment in affliction. Every boils down to decisions and choices. Your life is not determined by your situation, but decisions!
As believers, if you're a follower of Christ, then you're accountable to him and you do have some responsibilities.

PART 1
I believe in grace! But there are levels of grace, we have cheap grace and costly grace. I will say that the widespread messages on "once saved, forever saved" is a cheap grace and does not cater for responsibility. A believer must take responsibility for it's actions.
We have a lot of people who said they follow Christ but what they are is a fan of Christ. There's difference between being a disciple of Christ and a fan of Christ. Fan of Christ will root for Him but they don't follow what Jesus Christ tells them to do. Jesus said "why do you call me Lord Lord and do not do the things which I tell you to do"

If Jesus Christ was truly the Lord of your life, not only will you love him but you will do what he tells you to do.
Now, let's analysis the two grace; CHEAP GRACE & COSTLY GRACE

CHEAP Grace! .
👉Cheap grace is the preaching of forgiveness without requiring repentance; baptism without church discipline; communion without confession. 👉cheap grace is grace without discipleship, grace without the cross and grace without Jesus Christ. 👉Cheap grace is to hear the gospel preached as follows:

Of course you have sinned but now everything is forgiven, so you can stay as you're and enjoy the consolation of forgiveness
The main defect of such proclamation is that it contain no demand for discipleship!
In other words, you have forgiveness without change! And today unfortunately in the modern church, we have many people who are born again, who have forgiveness but there's no change in their life.
Years ago, we used to sin a song "Jesus on the inside, working on the outside, oh! What a change in my life". But today, people have sealed their conscience that everything is okay.
Are you truly a disciple of Jesus Christ?
Do you want to know Costly Grace and why it's costly? Stay tuned .... To be continued!... Watch out ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖
