IT’S MBG WEEK! On behalf of the Crucial Kappa Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., we are proud to invite you to our 2026 Miss Old Gold and Black Scholarship Pageant this Sunday, April 19th at 5:00PM in the Student Life Center Ballroom.

Be sure to secure your tickets before they sell out! Tickets can be found in the linktree in our bio, and dinner is included with your purchase.

Vanderbilt students can purchase tickets using Commodore Cash at the Sarratt Box Office.

We’ll see you Sunday at 5:00PM in the SLC Ballroom to see who will be crowned the next Miss Old Gold and Black👀

The spotlight shines bright for her... meet contestant #1, Kendall Forrest! ✨

Hailing from Memphis, Tennessee, Kendall is a junior majoring in Cognitive Studies with double minors in Child Psychology & Mental Health and Sports & Society.

Dedicated to her lifelong passion of becoming a Sports Neuropsychologist in Pediatrics, she is committed to uniting the interdisciplinary fields of sports, mental health, and medicine. Through her work, she aims to provide solutions to the profound impact of brain injuries on athletic performance and wellbeing, so that their minds never sideline their dreams.

As her time on the stage grows closer, Kendall can be found getting into gear with her favorite Destiny Child song, "Dangerously in Love."

Join her on April 19th, 2026 in the SLC Ballroom. Will she rise to the occasion and prove she's truly Destined For Gold? 👀
