"Be where you are". My coach Jaime would say, lets sharpen our skills, every training day after training day, throughout the whole year. The results speak for themselves.
Today LBT was fully present in the moment we are living and that focus got us 1st place! Thank you coach Jaime and our captains Cass and Karen and all my teammates that were present for this amazing day!

Almost a year ago I joined a dragon boat team that pushed my limits. It was hard work, it was training even if I was tired.

On the back of our jersey it say.."BE WHERE YOU ARE "
I interpreted as..."BE FULLY PRESENT IN THE MOMENT YOU'RE LIVING NOW"

Believe me when I say that coach Jaime trains us, sharpens us mentally and physically for us to be the best version of ourselves.

We have one more race to go at Riverdale.
So LBT, letzzzgooooo!!!!🔥💪🔥💪🔥

Who know 5 years later we would be meeting @philiminator at the Pit Spot here on @theamazingrace 🤯

Check out this mini recap of @burniefit and my first international competition! 🚣🏽‍♀️

In June 2019 the Hong Kong tourism board sponsored @lbt_dragonboat to come compete in their Dragon Boat Festival🇭🇰

Of course one of the team’s first stops was Big Buddha! And later in the trip we visited the West Kowloon Art District, as seen on The Amazing Race as the first Pit Stop!

This is just part one of our Hong Kong journey, stay tuned episode 1 recap 👀
