I’m afraid summer was nothing but whimsy and tomfoolery 🫶😁

We woke to the sound of our alarms and the bite of freezing air. Headlamps on, eyes set on the summit.

Few words were spoken. We hiked in anticipation, checking the horizon for the first sliver of light over the distant ridge.

Then, for a few minutes, the sky exploded.

Woah, back to school season already!?!

The majority of our trail crew has now wrapped up for the season.
We wish them all the best as they continue their studies and work towards their future dreams.

Thanks so much for all their hardwork this season.

We are down to a two man crew and plan to continue going hard until the snow flies. We have more exciting things happening in the woods to share with you all.

Even the snow can't stop us. Did you know that all those bridges on A Stone's Throw were built in February and March?

It's going to be a hot and dry long weekend. Things are loose and slippery. Take your time and take lots of breaks. Would be a great weekend to check some things off of the scavenger hunt.

Keep it rubber side down.
