Going to school full-time (I only missed two classes to attend a conference), working full-time at @recordingacademy, and recruiting full-time (landed my summer internship 🙏🏼)— @cornellmba Fall 1 was truly a whirlwind. In hindsight, it’s clear how much I packed into these past months, and it was both exciting and exhausting. Initially the first two months were particularly difficult. I struggled with adjusting to life in Ithaca and on the toughest days I questioned whether stepping down from my role at the #GRAMMYs and leaving LA was the right decision. Despite these challenges, praying, maintaining an attitude of gratitude, and reflecting on my journey helped me push past the negative thoughts and move forward. I share this part of my story because I believe it’s important to acknowledge that not every moment/day of this journey feels like a smooth, carefree ride. There are many ups and downs, and that’s okay. With time—as the days, weeks, and months passed, I became more certain that I had made the right decision. My “why MBA” is now clearer and stronger than ever before. Looking back, my Fall 1 MBA experience has truly been transformative. I’ve stopped dimming my light and have fully embraced stepping into my full potential. I see a significant difference in both my professional choices and my personal growth. My colleagues have noticed this shift, and my close friends tell me how much more I radiate. Over the past five months, I’ve grown tremendously, and I’m committed to continuing this journey of evolution, striving to become the best version of myself. I’m deeply grateful for the invaluable lessons and opportunities that have come my way so far. Beyond excited to see where the rest of my #CornellMBA journey takes me. #CornellBaddie #LatinasWithMasters
