I happily signed up for @movarafitnessresort for the SHIFT week, hosted by @heidiswapp (@shiftwithheidi @joinshiftcollective ). Heidi is an amazing human! She has built an incredible career and following. AND Heidi has been willing, open and passionate in sharing with others things she has learned by hard won experience that have little to do with her career. I used to enjoy Heidi’s scrapbook layouts when I thumbed through the Creating Keepsakes magazine waaay back in the day… Many years later Heidi was willing to share parenting insights she was learning after losing her son to suicide. @lightthefight was a pivotal and helpful tool for me in my own parenting journey (much love to @david_kozlowski_ too).

More recently Heidi has used her influence to help other women learn about the many benefits of caring for our health and fitness. Once again she has been willing to allow Instagram to watch her own journey, and so many amazing women are inspired and helped by her encouragement. Heidi inspires me 🙏. It takes great courage to let the work witness our grit and growth, Heidi is doing that humbly but confidently and I love her for it!!

SHIFT week was so FUN!!! Look at these many amazing and incredible women who I got to hike and sweat with! #sograteful #goheidigo #movementismedicine
