First show as a graduate student was amazing, thank you to every single person that was a part of this exploration!

Cuāuhtli, a classical Nahuatl word for “eagle” symbolizes the strength and freedom of the Mesoamerican people.

Most of my inspiration for this came from the Mexican flag which illustrates an eagle catching a serpent on a cactus.

This particular project is not one that directly tells the story of the Mexica, rather it’s an exploration of imagery of all they went through to find their home, just as the Mexica searched for a sign/image.

You can find the full video in the link on my bio/youtube! 🦅

- to pass out of sight, memory, or existence -

An investigation into the fleeting nature of time through driving musicality, shifting dynamics, with moments of urgency and stillness. Audiences are invited to experience this deeply personal yet universally resonant work, which blends visceral physicality with a poignant meditation on time, memory, and human connection.
