Your biggest expense is your biggest opportunity. Kendall figured that out by cutting housing to zero. I did the same thing back when I built a camper van for $56,000, lived in it for two years in Silicon Valley, and sold it for $86,000.

Here's what changed everything. Every dollar I didn't spend on rent went straight into my HSA, my Roth 401(k), my Roth IRA, and then my taxable brokerage. That brokerage money is what really accelerated my financial freedom timeline. The gap between what you earn and what you spend is where the magic happens.

It could be van life, a second job, side income, living with family, or moving somewhere cheaper. The move itself doesn't matter. The gap does. That's the accelerator most people never even look at.

There’s a light in myself I lost a long time ago that I’ve been trying to get back and slowly over time finding these people, they reminded me how to turn that light back on and I’m incredibly grateful for the meaningful conversations and unforgettable memories we’ve gotten to share together.
