Although Les Misérables takes place in 19th-century France, its core themes of injustice, inequality, poverty, and the abuse of power are more relevant today than ever. The story shows how societies rapidly fail when compassion is replaced by control. Les Mis delivers an extraordinary powerful message about what happens when controlling a society becomes more important than caring for the people within it.

I spoke with @alexaelopez, who stars as Cosette in the play, and stage production manager @kendavis133 about this timeless production, one that has been seen by more than 130 million people worldwide. Les Misérables is in our city at the @marcus.center tonight through Sunday. Tickets are on sale now! #MarcusCentersYou

Curtain up➡️curtain down.

Happy trails indeed- one week off the road with @lesmizus and all I’m left with is love and gratitude.
There’s truly no people like show people.

After three years, my time on Les MIs has come to an end. It’s hard to summarize three years in a caption, and it’s even harder to pick just 20 photos to represent my time here. I couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible opportunity and these extraordinary people. 🇫🇷❤️

Had a mommy-daughter date today with mom back in the 419!

We went to see one of my favorite shows ( @lesmizus ), at the Stranahan - where I had my high school graduation! Ran into my high school drama teacher, who was ushering/ticket taking. Was a great surprise to see him, and of course it was in a theatre! 🤣

The show was AMAZING!! Incredible job to all cast and crew (hi @gillynotjam ! Great to see you @kendavis133 )

After the show, we headed to our old stomping grounds for dinner at @biaggis and then ice cream at @mymrfreeze - just like old times!
