🏔️🇨🇭 And just like that, our Switzerland Photography Tour has come to an end! ❤️

For our final day, we rode the cable car to the top of Bettmerhorn, soaked in the breathtaking views of the magnificent Aletsch Glacier, and spent the entire afternoon hiking all the way back down to Bettmeralp. What an incredible way to end our Swiss adventure! 🥾📸

Countless photos, unforgettable experiences, endless laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to share the beauty of Switzerland with my five amazing guests. Thank you for trusting me to lead you on this adventure and for making it even more special than I could have imagined.

Switzerland, you have truly stolen our hearts! 🇨🇭❤️ Until next time! 🏔️

🇨🇭🏔️ Day 7 of our Swiss Photography Adventure: Historic Bridges, Palaces & Postcard-Perfect Villages! 📸✨

Today we said Auf Wiedersehen to beautiful Zermatt and made our way toward the final destination of our Swiss adventure. But of course, we couldn’t just drive straight there. Not with so many incredible photo opportunities along the way! 😂📷

Our first stop was the historic Ritibrücke Bridge near Stalden, a beautiful centuries-old stone bridge built in 1599 that once served travelers and traders making their way through the valleys of Valais.

Next, we explored around the magnificent Stockalperschloss (Stockalper Palace) in Brig, a stunning 17th-century Baroque palace built by Kaspar Stockalper, a wealthy merchant and businessman who made his fortune through trade across the Alps.

By late afternoon, it was time to head UP! 🚡🏔️

We boarded a cable car to the charming, car-free alpine village of Bettmeralp, perched at nearly 6,500 feet above sea level. With its traditional wooden chalets, spectacular mountain scenery, and peaceful atmosphere, this little village looks like it was plucked straight off a Swiss postcard.

Our home for the final two nights is the wonderful Hotel Alpfrieden, a family-owned hotel that has been welcoming guests for three generations. ❤️

And talk about Swiss hospitality! Jean-Claude, who owns and operates the hotel and restaurant with his wife, personally picked us up in their electric shuttle cart and even stopped by during dinner to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. It’s those personal touches that make traveling so memorable.

After seven days of incredible scenery, unforgettable experiences, countless photographs, and plenty of laughs, we’ve arrived at the final chapter of our Swiss adventure.

We still have more exploring and photographing to do, and we’re going to savor every moment before it’s time to say goodbye to this beautiful country.

🇨🇭🏔️ Day 6 in Switzerland: Sheep, Swiss Charm &… McDonald’s?! 🍟😂

Our last day in Zermatt started bright and early. We dragged ourselves out of bed before dawn to catch the sunrise from the iconic Kirchbrücke bridge, hoping the Matterhorn would give us one last spectacular morning show. 🌄

Then it was time to work off all that Swiss chocolate we’d been eating this last week! We hopped on the cable car to Furi and began our scenic hike back down toward Zermatt. Along the way, we stumbled upon possibly the cutest residents of Switzerland—a farm full of adorable, fluffy Valais Blacknose sheep, including a precious little baby born just THREE weeks ago! 🐑❤️ Seriously, how is anything allowed to be that cute?!

Our downhill adventure also took us through the charming historic hamlet of Zum See, where it felt like we had stepped back in time.

And after a morning surrounded by breathtaking Alpine scenery, centuries-old Swiss buildings, and adorable sheep, where did my sophisticated group of international photography travelers request lunch?

MCDONALD’S. 🍔🍟🤣

Yep. We traveled thousands of miles to Switzerland… for a Big Mac. You really can’t make this stuff up! 😂

After a much-needed afternoon break, we squeezed in a little more photography at Zermatt’s historic cemetery before wrapping up our final evening with a delicious Italian dinner at Grampi’s. 🍝🍷

And just like that, our Zermatt chapter comes to an end. ❤️

But Switzerland isn’t finished showing off just yet! With snow in the forecast over the next few days, we’re heading to our final destination, where this already incredible adventure might just turn into a magical winter wonderland! ❄️✨

Stay tuned… the grand finale is coming! 🏔️📸🇨🇭

Another day, another Swiss adventure… and apparently, another opportunity to embarrass the tour guide! 😂🏔️

We kicked off our morning with a spectacular sunrise from the Gornergrat, watching the first golden rays light up the majestic Matterhorn and surrounding peaks. Seriously, Switzerland, could you BE any more photogenic?! 😍📸

After soaking in the views, we hit the trail for a beautiful hike down to Riffelsee, where the scenery was breathtaking… but apparently, I was about to become the REAL attraction. 🤦🏻‍♀️

You see, Judy and Katherine have a little tradition of making their guide wear an embarrassing costume. And lucky me, I was today’s fashion victim! 😂 Let’s just say we got PLENTY of funny looks along the trail. Some people were probably wondering if they had accidentally stumbled onto a Swiss mountain fashion show gone terribly wrong. 🤣

But hey, when you’re leading a photography tour, sometimes YOU become the photo opportunity! 📸😂

After our mountain shenanigans, we made our way back down to Zermatt for some well-deserved downtime before dinner. A chance to rest our legs, recharge our batteries, and recover whatever dignity I had left.

Another unforgettable day filled with stunning scenery, lots of laughter, and memories we’ll be talking about for years!

The Matterhorn was magnificent. The hike was incredible. My dignity? Still missing somewhere on the mountain. 😂🏔️❤️

🇨🇭📸 Tonight we officially kicked off the Switzerland Photography Tour with a traditional Swiss dinner at a restaurant located in Zurich’s historic Old Town district.

After a year and a half of planning, countless hours of research, and probably a few questionable decisions involving logistics, I’m now responsible for FIVE brave souls who willingly signed up to follow me around the Swiss Alps with cameras! 😂

For the next several days, we’ll be chasing beautiful light, breathtaking landscapes, and that perfect shot that requires us to stop every 37 feet because “OMG, LOOK AT THAT VIEW!” 📸🤣

There will be mountains, lakes, charming villages, Swiss chocolate, lots of cheese, and enough photos to crash a few hard drives. And let’s not forget the inevitable question: “Are we there yet?”

Five guests. One fearless tour leader. Thousands of photo opportunities. And absolutely no guarantee that anyone will remember what day it is by the end of this adventure!
