𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 On October 29, Albany Tech hosted a powerful Breast Cancer Awareness program featuring an inspiring guest speaker, Mrs. Kendra Joy Williams, a breast cancer survivor. Kendra shared her heartfelt journey, detailing the moment she discovered a lump that led to her diagnosis of Stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. Throughout her experience, which included extensive chemotherapy, Kendra emerged not only as a survivor but as a warrior. In her moving address, Kendra emphasized the importance of early detection and the strength found in community support. She spoke candidly about the emotional and physical challenges she faced during treatment, illustrating her resilience and determination. Now, she dedicates her life to supporting others battling breast cancer, offering encouragement and hope through her own experience. Her mission transcends personal survival; it is about empowering other patients to embrace their journeys with courage. Kendra’s story serves as a reminder of the power of perseverance and the vital role that awareness and support play in the fight against breast cancer. The event at Albany Tech was not just an opportunity to learn more about the disease but also a celebration of strength, hope, and solidarity within the community. Ms. Williams is a native of Albany, Georgia, a devoted wife to Antonio Williams, and mother of two children, Kali and Aaron. She is owner of Joy Home Care Services here in Albany. #AlbanyGA #albanytech #albanytechnicalcollege #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth

Happy Sunday guys I know I am a day late announcing the winner so sorry for the delay. Thank you to everyone who participated in my giveaway I really appreciate you all. Usually when I do a giveaway I take everyone’s name who participated and followed all the rules and use an app to randomly select a winner. This time I wanted to do it differently. Since the reason for this giveaway was to celebrate my six year anniversary I felt like it’s only fair for me to select a winner personally. My main reason for doing this giveaway is to give back to my supporters. Instead of selecting one winner I decided to select four winners. I read through all of your comments as to why you should win and the one that touched my heart the most was from @kendrajoy6 Kendra has been fighting for her life over the past few years and now she is a survivor of breast cancer🙌🏽She mentioned her hair has not grown back completely. I felt compelled to bless her with this wig. We all know how confident our hair makes us feel and I hope and pray I can help raise her confidence by giving her this wig Kendra I admire your strength you are a queen and I hope by me giving you this wig it will help you feel as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside♥️ I’ve also decided to select @juicydreak as second place winner because she has been a supporter from day one. She genuinely supports my brand and always provides us with her feedback. I sincerely appreciate your loyalty and trust in my brand. Third place I chose @tamaraahj she has also been a supporter of my brand for over the past four years. Thank you for your ongoing support and not hesitating to tag us in your pictures.😉 And last but not least fourth place @_cassyunna She has also been shopping with us for the past three years. Thank you for the times that you’ve traveled out your way to come shop in store. You ladies have trusted me and my brand, spent hundreds of dollars over the years and this is the least I can do to show my appreciation. I will inbox you details on how to collect your🎁 For everybody else that participated in the giveaway I love you guys and this will not be the last giveaway. ♥️
