Wave tutorial by @kendravandruff 🩷🌊

I’m proud of her so I thought she deserved a place on the grid 🥰

I’ve had so much fun learning watercolour over the past couple of months, each week I’m getting better and more confident in how this medium works. Not going to lie there have been a few pages ripped out 😅

Also putting my winsor & newton palette into this new tin with extra ocean colours was the best decision I made. It’s so small and prefect, it really is the little things that make life with chronic illness a little easier.

Also I love goauche and can’t wait to create with the rest of the colours.

Seeing the Joshua trees in person earlier this year inspired me to create some art. I watched a tutorial by @kendravandruff and had a lot of fun creating my version of the project!!

I love painting @kendravandruff tutorials. She has an amazing YouTube channel and is well known for her gorgeous National Park watercolors. I’ve had the honor of taking a couple of classes with her, and she’s the sweetest person ever. If you live in Southern California, I’d check her classes out at @tpshomeandgarden in old Towne Orange, CA. She’s also currently exhibiting her original National Parks watercolors at the Potting Shed By Carlisle. The Potting Shed by Carlisle is a charming boutique home-and-garden shop in the heart of Old Towne Orange. It’s much more than a traditional nursery—it’s a destination for plant lovers, gardeners, and anyone who enjoys beautiful home décor. If you love beautiful things, I’d run(don’t walk) over to see Kendra’s work and The Potting Shed by Carlisle 😍. #watercolorlandscape #watercolornature #thepottingshedbycarlisle #kvwatercolors #nationalparksart

You don’t have to ask me twice to paint a desert landscape, so when I saw @kendravandruff new tutorial this morning, I knew I had to set aside some time to paint it today. I live in the Mojave desert, and Joshua trees are in my backyard. I’m actually going to Joshua Tree National Park next week to do some much needed photography, so this tutorial couldn’t have come at a better time. Thank you, Kendra 😍 #watercolorlandscape #watercolorjoshuatree #desertlandscape #desertart #becreative
