The Summit XVI has now drawn to a close and all of the delegates have returned home via electric jet. The first home opener at Allegiant stadium proved to be an astonishing highlight. And both great meals and wine at the Golden Steer and Lowry’s capped off the gruelling days of negotiations. Fortunately, all of the world’s problems were solved. Unfortunately, additional problems were uncovered in the process, requiring the convening of yet another Summit in a year’s time.

Another PERSONAL BEST at Orangetheory! 🍊🔥💪

There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing the numbers prove what consistency has already been teaching me:

PERSEVERANCE PAYS OFF.

You don’t have to be the strongest every day.
You don’t have to feel motivated every day.
You just have to keep showing up.

One workout. One choice. One more push at a time.

Today’s personal best is proof that the small things we do consistently eventually create BIG results.

Keep going. Your next personal best may be closer than you think. 🧡🔥

A moment for ✨Manning Park, BC✨

A HUGE shoutout to Jan & Ken for renting a cabin in Manning Park and providing the most fresh food (and booze) we had seen in literal MONTHS. Also special shoutouts to Syd, Auntie Kim, and Uncle Ian for being at the finish line to welcome us home (and officially welcome the tramily into the family). And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who supported us along the way - we could not have done it without you!

WEEK 16: mile 1269.1 to 1408.7. After saying ‘see ya in Canada’ to Kristyn’s family, we were back on the trail out of Quincy! The climbs got bigger and the rocks got lava-ier. We hiked through more burn zones to reach the halfway point (luckily the marker is a concrete post)!! Our sun gloves officially bit the dust at the halfway marker. We side stepped a noro outbreak (thank goodness). Rif Raf officially entered the tramily in Chester and the shenanigans increased exponentially as a result! We toured (and had a well deserved beer at) the Subway caves which were oh so cool we literally had steam coming off of us. We survived the heat of Hat Creek Rim and made it to Burney complete with laundromat beers and impromptu karaoke at the bowling alley. BONUS: we made it in time to the post office to get our sleeping quilts! 🎤🎳🧺🍻🪨🌋🆒🥾🐦‍⬛🐛🐍🐄🌲🍄🌞💥🏕️🌄 #halfwaytocanada #pct2024 #pacificcresttrail #welcometotherifraf #nonoro

WEEK 15: mile 1112 to 1269 (miles skipped for fire: 32.2🔥) The one where 5 Spice enters the tramily ❣️ We also had our first fire skip so we arranged for a ride to get up to Truckee. We made it to the pick up spot where we were killing time eating and playing rummy when a mini van shows up with none other than Eclipse and Oliver!! Such a nice surprise 🌞 that night we toasted a rum press and a rum and tonic (with rum carried from SLT) in honour of Kristyn’s grandparents. We hit the Blue Blaze out of Sierra City, accidentally set up our tent on a gopher site, encountered more trail magic ✨, our first marathon day, another rattlesnake, and ran into some very friendly faces on the trail 🤗🥾🌲🌸🥦🍩🥂🏕️🌅🌈🍷💕 #pct2024 #pacificcresttrail #quincy #christmascomesearly

Another incredible success on the anniversary of the original Summit, back in 2005. Fortunately, no rainforests were paved over in anticipation of next year’s gathering.

STRONGER TOGETHER 🔥
Our OTF ESP crew showed up and showed OUT for the Strength in Numbers Signature Workout 💪

14 minutes on the rower. All-out effort. Distance as the goal.
And our members crushed it—powered by teamwork, grit, and that unmatched OTF energy finishing 27th out of 45 studios in Canada 👏🏼
Rowing alone, but never rowing solo 🚣
