Legacy Fest 2026 🌱

What you’re seeing is the beginning of something bigger than a festival.

These moments captured the excitement leading into the inaugural Legacy Fest Juneteenth Celebration in Greenville, Georgia. Vendors were set, smiles were everywhere, and the community was ready. While the weather ultimately forced us to end the event early, I don’t see the rain as what stopped us.

I see it as what watered the seed.

Legacy Fest was never just about one day. It was created to honor the meaning of Juneteenth—celebrating freedom, opportunity, legacy, and the responsibility to leave our communities better than we found them. The rain didn’t wash away the vision. It nurtured it.

Even with the unexpected ending, we were still able to plant another seed by donating $350 to the Greenville Recreation Department, small investment that we hope grows into greater opportunities for our youth and our community.

This is only the foundation. Together, we’re rebuilding tradition, celebrating our history, honoring those who came before us, and creating something that generations after us can be proud of.

To every sponsor, vendor, volunteer, performer, donor, and supporter. Thank you for believing in the vision before you could fully see it. Your support proved that Greenville is ready for something special.

The rain wasn’t the end of Legacy Fest.

It was the beginning.

We’ll see you next year. Bigger. Stronger. Together. @camarkelle 🎥
