🩷to be loved. surrounded by it. to feel it and believe it. it’s a beautiful thing. the gift of sisterhood. with women who love me and want the best for me.

this sunday, i was met with love, gentleness, and intention. i almost shied away from it. but i felt it. fully. my first time doing an organized event for my bday since i was maybe 19. im so glad i decided to.

25 is about regaining my pink. relearning who i am in this adult body. about identifying and addressing my wants, confronting my fears. fulfilling my desires. i feel my world shifting. and i thank the lovely women who came to usher this era in. 🩷

I am a proud fall 2019 initiate of the tantalizing AND mesmerizing Theta Mu Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. I have always enjoyed helping others and this sorority paved a way for me to be of service to ALL mankind!!

Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe my love for Alpha Kappa Alpha. To my line sisters that love me unconditionally, those before me that paved a way, and my wonderful graduate advisors who push me to be great in all I do - I love you all. I’m thankful that you each pushed me and have helped me in this journey and so many more!
